I am using the Data View web part in MOSS 2007 SharePoint Designer. I need to display "related articles" from a knowledge base article with links to them. Presently I only see "Deployment Procedures;Installation Procedures" which are the two document
names related to a KB article.
I need the names displayed on separate lines with hyperlinks to the actual documents. So far no menu selection I make and no xsl modifications are working properly.
This is the code as it looks right now:
<xsl:value-of select="@KBRelatedArticles" disable-output-escaping="yes" />
I've been tinkering with various mods of similar tasks like this I've found online but none work so far.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
I have put a Content Editor WebPart on a page and I'm trying to insert a picture from the Rich text editor, but whenever I try this I get this error:
List does not exist.
The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.
This also happens when inserting links. When I use Fiddler I can see that the error occurs somewhere in AssetPortalBrowser.aspx and It's likely that the last location used to insert pictures and links no longer exist. So the question is how do I reset the
location to point to a list on the current site, or any other list for that matter? I tried deleting and adding the WebPart on the page without any luck. Typing in a valid link in the link text box or setting the attribute "DefaultToLastUsedLocation" to "false"
in the call to AssetPortalBrowser.aspx did not work either. I read the solution at
http://mossipqueen.wordpress.com/2008/08/08/assetportalbrowser-error-list-does-not-exist/ (de- and re-activate Office SharePoint Server Publishing feature) but the feature is not activated on my web. Does anyone have a tip on what to do? This happens
on a live SharePoint environment so there may be some restrictions as to what I can
I have imagebuttons as links and i added the attributes for mousedown, up and out. That works fine. I cant seem to figure out how that the imagebutton itself, when pushed, stays down and returns to normal when the user clicks another link....
what I was thinking of doing is calling a method on the onclick event of the button and letting it check whether there is another button pushed down then to send the found link button to its orginal state.
I figured doing the call and checking of the buttons would be long winded with the method, so there must be an easier way to do this ?

Hi I would like to create a database where users can search for multiple fields. For example: if the record is personal details info like name, address, phone number and email id i would like to generate link for this automatically with the fields using stored procedure.. Is that possible.? If so can anybody provide me with the line of code or guideline on how to do that?Any help much appreciated. Thanks
I looked the other topic and it doesn't answer my problem.
When I receive an email with hyper-links in them they seldom connect and only if the full link is available can I copy & paste it into my browser. Soemtimes there is just a comment with the link behind it and it's impossible to pick up the full link
details. A box appears saying that Outlook is blocking this action and I should refer to my administrator.
I am the administrator and have too little knolwedge to know what I would need to do do to create the bock so please help to sort out this annoying and time consuming issue.
we have published our sharepoint site outside domain.
Unfortunately big problems with links in document library appeared.
The url for outside users is "it.company.cz", the internal url is "sp001:55680".
When I open the page and select Shared Documents, the site is still it.company.cz. But when select any folder in document library the site url changes to sp001:55680.
Strange is that the mouseover url is correct but when I click it, it changes to internal url.
Mouseover url: http://it.compay.cz/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2fShared%20Documents%2fProjects&FolderCTID=&View=%7bBEBFF1D2%2d5910%2d4A36%2dB049%2d971F95E752E7%7d
After click url: http://sp001:55680/Shared%20Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx?RootFolder=%2fShared%20Documents%2fProjects&FolderCTID=&View=%7bBEBFF1D2%2d5910%2d4A36%2dB049%2d971F95E752E7%7d
I've got a single user who's not able to manage his links in MOSS 2007. The links I speak of are gotting to via
users have no issue.
I read somewhere that this might be caused by the user in question having added an improperly formated link. My issue is how can I check for that condition and correct it? Any thoughst
would be much appreciated.
I'm using vs2010, EF. I have a left column simular to a navigation area and I'm trying to figure out a way to display the FK links that appear at the end of a list as columns, in my navigation area. One thought was to place a duplicate table in the navigation area and hide all the columns except for the FK links. Is there an easier way to accomplish this.
