I am providing a service based solution for multiple stakeholders based on SQL Srver 2005.
The functionality for each stakeholder is identical and hence the table design is identical across all stakeholders.
I had originally planned to have separate named instances per stakeholder to ensure data separation but am considering putting them all in the same databsae.
Q: What options do i have for creating logical separation between their data. Note: for security reasons i cant put multiple stakeholders data in the same table with an orgID field as this would require row level security which i dont believe can be implemented
in SQL Svr 2005.
Option: simply create replica tables eg table1_stakeholder1, table2_stakeholder1, table1_stakeholder2, table1_stakeholder2
If anyone could shed some light on this then that would be much appreciated.
