I installed the server certificate on the SQL Server 2005 and turnd on
ForceEncryption to Yes on the server.
I wrote a database application which contains "Encrypt=True" in connection string. After i did installed the Root Certificate on some client computers , It gives a below error. I don't know What this means
"ERROR: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the pre-login handshake. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The
requested name is valid and was found in the database, but it does not have the correct associated data being resolved for.)"
I don't get it why this happens on some client machine . on developement machine it works fine. below is my application codes.
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
const string sConn = server=188.8.131.52;Initial Catalog=MARKET;UID=user;PWD=password^^;Encrypt=True";
SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(sConn);
SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("SELECT * FROM Orders", conn);
