I am not a web expert nor a programming expert. I know a fair amount about SSRS. With that being said, we are having an issue with our internal architecture. We have some custom search forms set up for users to edit/enter parameters.
These search forms then POST the parameters to the proper report in a new window.
This has always worked without a problem. However, now that we are starting to bring up machines that are Win 7 IE8, we are seeing issues. With an IE8 machine, the POST no longer works.
It would be great if someone was able to give me their opinion on the matter.
While this could be an IE8 issue, this will not happen if I post to any other site besides SSRS. Every other site we have tested seems to work just fine - this is why I am starting this thread here. For some reason, when it comes
to SSRS, IE8 does not want to POST on the first attempt.
Here is our search form simplified for this example:
<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="onemoretest.aspx.cs" Inherits="GetAndPost.onemoretest" %>
