I'm trying to document a bunch of old DTS packages that have been moved into SSIS, and there are a lot of Execute SQL Tasks. I want to identify them as such and extract the SQL statements, but I cannot get the code block that would document a ExecuteSQLTask
to execute. The issue is this if statement never succeeds, and I've tried using the completely qualified name for the task, too (Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.ExecuteSQLTask)
if (taskHost.InnerObject is ExecuteSQLTask)
//do work here;
taskHost.InnerObject.GetType().ToString() is ALWAYS returning System.__ComObject when the task is an ExecuteSQLTask.
It appears to work properly for Data flow tasks, though.
