I'd like to get some information of the computer state outside of the application, such as the mouse coordinates from the top left corner of the screen, or the mouse clicks/drags/position changes or key strokes outside of the window application, or even
get a print screen image. I'm pretty sure all of these information can be accessed because some remote desktop sharing softwares use these features. For instance how could I intercept an OS keyboard shortcut to give it to the remote desktop instead (in some
applications, scroll lock does that, but how could I implement this feature ?)
Similarly I'd like to know how to set these properties, such as how to change the cursor position, how to simulate a key stroke or how to draw something outside of the application.
I'd be particularly interested in drawing a cursor on the current cursor position, because there's a bug in a video player that makes the cursor disappear, and that's pretty annoying.
Can you please be kind enough to tell me how to access the information of each of the examples I've given above, for I'm interested in each of them, even though you can guess that some of them won't be of any use to draw a mouse.
For example, I've read that GetCursorPos() from the win api could be helpful to tell the mouse coordinates on the screen, but that it doesn't give a mouse m
