I deal with large images. 39,000 pixels wide by 8,000 to 16,000 tall. I have used the
BitmapImage control with some sucess. BUT, and this is a big but, the control does NOT report when it can not load the image because its out of memory or too large in some way or another. It goes
right through this try catch block and you can render it to a surface but there will be NOTHING in the surface. IF WPF had DEEP ZOOM I would be using it ... but ....
Well far as I can tell the control is broken. SO can you FIX this thing or tell me of a control I can use to load these large images?
