Infopath Template location

SP2010 Infopath 2007

We have a site collection that we have exported and imported and renamed on the same server. In the imported site colection there are several librarys containing Admiin approved forms, I notice when we acess the form/content type 'advanced features' in the library the forms template location still points to the original site collection.

Is there any way to change this location other than open every library and do manually ; stsadm ??

Infopath Template Deployment Locking Existing Records

We are currently using SharePoint Server 2007 and have multiple InfoPath lists configured and one workflow tasks list. We have workflows configured for these InfoPath lists using Visual Studio to design these workflows and use InfoPath forms as the main document. After using the workflow items for a while we have changed and upgraded the workflow for the last year. The issue came when we tried to upgrade to the third version we designed.

We have two InfoPath lists in SharePoint that have identical form templates. In both lists there are around 3000-3100 InfoPath forms give or take. I modified the template to accommodate some new fields and promoted additional fields but did not go over the

Updating an InfoPath Form Library Template breaks preexisting SharePoint List Views

When updating an InfoPath template (e.g. adding a new field), any views I have created on the library lose their filters and sorting, as if the columns on which they were built no longer exist.  Has anyone else encountered this and, if so, is there a solution? V/r Noelle

Cannot publish InfoPath 2010 form template to SharePoint Server 2010 RC

Hi all, I am MSFT in Vietnam. I created a SharePoint list using InfoPath 2010 RTM 64bit. After publishing it to SharePoint 2010 RC, I see an error message:  Click on button "Show Details" the message is The list schema does not match the schema of this form. Refresh the data source and publish the form again. When I create new item based on published SharePoint list, I can see plain form not browser enabled InfoPath form. I checked InfoPath Form Services, everything seems to be good. What should I do to publish SharePoint list from InfoPath 2010 to SharePoint 2010 as browser enabled form?

InfoPath / ActiveX error when using person selector field in Word template off SharePoint document l

I have created an out-of-the-box document library on a SharePoint 2010 site.  I left Microsoft Word Document selected as the Document Template.  I then added a person or group column and a multiple lines of text column to the document library. I then went into Library Settings --> Advanced Settings and clicked on Edit Template, opening the template in Word.  I created my template and added the two new columns to the document.  I did this using the Quick Parts --> Document Property --> [column name] feature under the Insert tab in Word.  I then saved the template back to SharePoint. Upon opening the template or creating a new document from the template, I get the following dialog box: --------------------------- Microsoft Office InfoPath --------------------------- One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either: 1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, or 2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls. As a result, the page might not display correctly. --------------------------- OK   --------------------------- I've searched around (I believe fairly extensively) and have not run into anyone else with the same issue.  Some have mentioned a similar error when creating a custom document information panel in InfoPath, and suggested lowered ActiveX security setti

Deploy infopath 2010 form template to MOSS (saved as Infopath2007 format)

I saw this post on another site and this happened to me as well.  I am trying to create a web form with controls, chose WebForms for Infopath2007 and changed the code to C# for Infopath 2007 and tried to deploy the form to the Infopath forms solution in Central Admin and was unable to do so.  any suggestions?

I have an interesting issue while deploying a VSTO enabled form today. For

some odd reason while performing stsadm -o verifyformtemplate -filename

foobar.xsn, it returned a "FatalError : The form cannot be converted because

it was designed for a later version of InfoPath Forms Services.".

Has anyone else tried deploying a InfoPath 2010 form with managed code in a

MOSS environment?? I'd hate to go back to InfoPath 2007, I love the new

ribbon. :D

infopath template on wss2.0 sharepoint site has been deleted - how to open infopath forms?

Hi All

Is there any way to open infopath forms (from a sharepoint site) if the template has been removed?

I have a case where infopath forms (xml files) have been saved to a sharepoint site, but the templates (xsn files) have been deleted.

Some users are still able to open the infopath forms and I'm guessing it is because the templates are cached on their workstations.

The problem obviously comes into play when a new user or user with a new workstation tries to open the infopath forms.

Any ideas how these files could be opened?

Provision an InfoPath form template in a content type, with "view in browser" option

Hi all.
I've to provision an InfoPath form template in SharePoint 2010 within a content type, and my form must be open in a browser.
The provision of the .xsn file and of the content type goes well, but my form always open in the client and not in the browser. Instead, if i publish my form from InfoPath 2010 using the "Publish" option and i select to publish my form within a content type, everything goes well. I can see the form in the browser.

Here is my code.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/">
 <Module Name="OpeningJeans" Url="_cts/MY CONTENT TYPE" RootWebOnly="TRUE">
  <File Path="InfopathModules\MyForm.xsn" Url="MyForm.xsn" />

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/">
<!-- Parent ContentType: Form (0x010101) -->

The Web Part cannot find an InfoPath form in the specified location.

I had published an infopath form which is having managed code and i created a webpart page and used sharepoint 2010 infopath form webpart.

when i am logging in as administrator then i am able to browse the form(i can fill n submit), if i log on as any other user it is giving me the below message.

 The Web Part cannot find an InfoPath form in the specified location. Either the location does not have an InfoPath form associated with it or it is on a different site collection. Modify the Web Part Properties and select a list or library on the current site.

InfoPath Form Rendering in Browser - The following location is not accessible, because it is in a di

Hi I have 2 infopath forms which are published to central Admin to be administrator approved before Use. When I try and open the form in a browser I get the error...

The following location is not accessible, because it is in a different site collection: /FormServerTemplates/PO2.xsn.

I assume this is because I have recreated the site collection as I was having problems with the old site collection, permissions and stuff. I actually uninstalled MOSS 2007 and reinstalled it on the server and recreated the site. Unfortunately due to demands from the client the root site was no longer intranet/default.aspx, but now /intranet/home/default.aspx. I do not have the time to recreate the infopath forms as they use webservices and have code behind. I am looking for the quickest solution to resolve the issue and any help is much appreciated.

Infopath Form template when used not promoting data to a library view

Have a really strange issue here that I can't figure out and wondered if any of you have had this issue?

Basically we have 5 libraries and the infopath form moves between them and there is consistent promoted fields in all the libraries.

We have 4 forms per lib with all the same properties promoted.

But one of the forms does not seem to show it data in the table view (you can see it in edit form (SP Page)???) for lib 4 (it shows in all the others).

I can't determine why this is occuring and what I need to do to fix it.

InfoPath The data source referenced in the form template is not valid

When I try to upload form template that uses “Data Connection”,  I receive the following error any idea “The data source referenced in the form template is not valid or not found”

Any idea ?
