HiIm currently working on a project where i have a form that users fill out in order to submit issues.My ask is to give the user the ability to upload multiple files together with the form submission and also go back each time they have an update and upload more if they need.The way i have it right now is that i only have one FileUpload Control and once the Save button is clicked the file is save in the database together with the form info. I already has a separate table for the files with reference to the ticket but im just not sure how can i allow the user to submit as many files as they want in an easy way.Any ideas?
Can we upload or download multiple documents to shared documents ?
I have an option to upload multiple documents, but when I place my pointer over there, "This control is currently disabled.. You might not have the right permission level to use this, you might need to select an object or item, or the control might
not work in this context" I am getting this error.
Please let me know how to download or upload multiple documents.

protected void btnSubmit_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
//to store image into sql database.

I got a new requirement for multiple files upload. User wants the directory structure(like explore) in left side and files structure in the right side. In our application developed
using asp.net 2.0 and client shouldn’t allow to use third party controls.
can anyone provide any approach on this using asp.net .2.0 itself would be helpful for me.
Thanks & Regards,
We've received some feedback that Upload Multiple Files only works on some machines, for some people, and not on/for others. Tracking down this challenge, it seems that machines with Office 2010 have components that allow the Upload Multiple functionality to
work, as machines with Office 2007 and prior are not working with Upload Multiple.
EDIT: Multiple Upload works SOMETIMES on Non-Office 2010 machines with the following interface: http://img100.imageshack.us/i/muv2.jpg/ and ALWAYS on Office 2010-equipped machines with this interface: http://img819.imageshack.us/i/muv1.jpg/
This thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sharepoint2010setup/thread/2decb33d-9e66-408c-b010-701b2fb4269f may confirm my suspicion, but the relevant post is vaguely worded (doesn't specify office versions) and so it's hard to tell
Can someone please confirm, or suggest what else might potentially be going wrong?
I'm using this example here:
And have added some GUID for unique filenames.
I'm in the middle of trying to get the 3 filenames as strings and thought I'd put it in an external class file, but when I build the page:
public class MultipleFileUploader
public static Boolean doMultipleFileUploader(string sFileUpload01,
string sFileUpload02, string sFileUpload03)
HttpFileCollection uploadedFiles = Request.Files;
string sFileGuid = System.Guid.NewGuid().ToString();
for (int i = 0; i < uploadedFiles.Count; i++)
HttpPostedFile userPostedFile = uploadedFiles[i];
if (userPostedFile.ContentLength > 0)
string serverFileName = Path.GetFileName(userPostedFile.FileName);
string getFileExtension = Path.GetExtension(serverFileName);//get the file extension
string sSaveLocation = Server.MapPath(sFilePath + "/") + sFileGuid + getFileExtension;
string sFileName = sFileGuid + serverFileName;
string FinalFileName = sFileGuid + getFileExtension;
