Hi, I know that for most lists and libraries in SharePoint 2007 MS recommends against having 2,000+ items at the root level. But how does this affect OOTB Survey Web Parts? We'd like to use the survey web part for a large survey that could generate
over 2,000 responses. If we reach 2,000, or 3,000, or 4,000 responses, will end users find the survey noticeably slower to respond (possibly exiting without finishing)?
What about the results? For those that have access to see the graphical summary of responses or all responses for 2,000 plus results, what kind of performance loss would be seen? Any issue with exporting that many results to Excel? I know
Excel can handle that many rows, but just curious about the web part's export process.
