A SharePoint Gantt view is made of two sections: the Gantt view itself (not customizable), and underneath a “summary list” that displays the task properties. How can we remove the “Summary list” sections? We want to display only the
Gantt view itself at one place on our site.
on a Sharepoint 2010 environment, I've got a problem displaying the Gantt side of a Project task list: I can see the columns with Task name, Start, Finish and so on but the right side is empty. I can see the calendar grid but no bars are shown.
I thoug about a problem with IE settings but checking with onther person we saw the they were the same.
No error is shown in IE, the Sharepoint log or anywhere else.
Anybody has in idea about the possible cause?
I need some help in trying to create a project plan in the free gantt chart view, which the tasks then appear in the calendar view on the front page? Is this possible or are the 2 parts seperate from each other and you have to use the task section to
assign parts out to users?
I'd like to modify the thumbnails view of the Picture Library to display the Title field instead of the Name field but after hours and hours of searching the internet, I can't seem to find any information.
I'm fairly new to Sharepoint so if someone here can help that would be greatly appreciated.
did someone of you already try to implement dragging and dropping items in Gantt View for SharePoint 2010?
included in the html-code of the page (right click-> view source)...
Before I start to write a SilverLight-WebPart I just wanted to ask, if there are better Ideas...:-)
I would love to know if anyone seen the following and found a workaround?
At this point we are seeing errors rendering the Gantt view and the ULS logs seem to indicate that the error is from some code that is trying to parse a multi-value column, and as best we can make out, the column it seems to be failing on is the
Property Bag (MetaInfo) column. The peculiar thing is that the Task list's Gantt view does render (with the same type of values in the MetaInfo column).
Weird one, and I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has a solution they can share!
If the view state is the data entered into the form fields then they are supposed to be available in the request parameters or request body. Then why would we need view state for?

I'm writing a small webapplication for creating repair tickets and adding comments, really basic
now I'm writing this in MVC2
So I have 2 controllers, 1 HomeController that does everything related to the tickets (listing tickets, creating new ones, editing) and 1 controller for the comments
the edit view for the homecontroller contains a partial view for /comment/create
so /home/edit/ticketnumber can edit the title and status of the ticket on the left side of the screen, the right side of the screen contains the partial view for adding comments
this is done like this:
but if I look at the generated html code when running the app, both save buttons go to /home/edit/ticketnumber
so the comment is never saved.
I hope this makes sense and that someone can help me solve this
Hi, whenever I load an aspx page in vwde2008, I get the message in the subject of this post. After I click Ok on that, I get a dialog box, Unable to Connect to the ASP.Net development center. What can I do to troubleshoot?
I am using Windows XP SP3, vwde2008 with SP1, on a HP desktop. Also using Office 2003 if that is relevant at all.
