I have Infopath 2007 web enabled form and the form contains multiple sections, User will key in the information in the 1st section and send for approval once the approving officer approved the information should published to another form and show to all.

Every section should go for approval and add the updated section information to the existing above form and also send email with the content.

Please kindly advise how I can achive this above scenario using infopath 2007.

Thanks for your time.

Submtting Calendar items with variable date information via InfoPath 2007 form

I've seen several posts regarding submitting to a list using and InfoPath form which I am successfully able to do in limited form. (only passing a basic date value) My environment: MOSS 2007 Enterprise w/SP2, InfoPath 2007, SPD 2007.

I'm basically trying to recreate a calendar form with the same data elements (and some additional ones for a specific business requirement) as the standard calendar newform.aspx form. (start time, end time broken down by date, hour, minute and All day event)

I need the form users to be able to select the date and if it is not an All day event...be able to select the hours and minutes just like on the newform.aspx. (date picker control for date and drop downs for hour and minute selection)

On submit I then need to create the list item with the appropriate data passed via a workflow.

My Start Time has a validation rule to not allow dates prior to the current date (and it can't blank) The End Time has a validation rule to not allow dates prior to what is specified as the Start Time value. (Also can't be blank) When I attempt to include conditonal formatting to hide the hour and minute drop downs if 'All Day Event' is selected I get errors stating the fields can't be blank.

I also can't figure out how to pass the entire date/time values or the All Day Event to the list withou

How can I update UI of web form via event?

I have 2 buttons on page, where button1.visible = false.

Page code behind:

                Class1.ShowButtonEvent += new Class1.ShowButton(Show);

Using ajax to submit and update form

Hi all,

  I'm new to ajax and not sure if it's necessarily the technology I need to accompolish what I'm looking to do. What I'd like to have is a simple two textbox and button form that let's the user submit some credentials (not for logging in) but instead to verify their identity for other purposes.  I would label the button as "Continue" and assuming it passes through, the form would update with some new data entry controls that would allow them to submit some final information.  I thought perhaps ajax would be a nice way to do this since I wouldn't need to create a second continuation page from the first to display a new form.  However, I'm unsure how it's possible to update the form in the first place to look different.  Or is there perhaps a cleaner way to do this?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

making page work after DB update in Form View

I could really use some help with this issue. I have a DropDown that allows the selection of a Category Code. The selection populates a Gridview with details of records matching the Category Code. I have only enabled the Select option on the Gridview, which when clicked populates a Formview in Edit Mode with the full record information. When editing is complete and the Update link is clicked, I can not get the page to properly reload/postback. When another Category Code is selected from the Drop Down the Gridview does not report a list of records.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks,

How to prevent automatic update from sharepoint list on Infopath 2007 form

Hi there, I've got an Infopath 2007 form on MOSS 2007. I have a custom list in sharepoint and the infopath form has a data connection to that list to receive data. Is there any way to prevent automatic update on the values in the form that is received from the list. I'd like the new form to have updated info received from the list. However, the old/existing forms that were created should have the data that were available at the time when the form was created. Let me know if this is not clear and I'll try to explain more. Thanks,Pman http://www.pmansLab.com/

Administratively-Approved Form Templates not updating in Form Library

I did not have this problem for non-administrator-approved templates.

I have managed codes for an administrator-approved templates. After I made C# changes to the template, tried all kinds of way, have the newest version in the forms template doc lib, however, the form document library still refers to the old one, even after I clear the infopath cache folder as RW_IOWA recommended.

I feel the upload/upgrade template page in central admin should take care of this changes, the document lib using the form template should automatically get the changes.

Anywhere could I make a mistake?

Update all Properties in the User Information List after restoring a site collection to a new domain

hi All

I moved a site collection (content db) from one domain to another. After the site collection was restored i ran the stsadm -o migrateuser -oldlogin -newlogin. The result was that the login id of the user in the source domain was replaced with the login in the destination domain.

However the rest of the properties in the User Information List (paricularly interested in the Email) was not updated.

How can i get all the properties in the User Information List with values in the new domain

Thanks in Advance

Sending information in e-mail from a fillable form

I have created a page for filling information, when anyone fills out the form, the information gets e-mailed to all the recipient's e-mail addresses that are mentioned in the code of the page.

I have written the code which is working fine but when i fill out the information in the form, the information is sent to all the 3 e-mail addresses i mentioned in the code, but all 3 recipients of this information can see other recipient's name and address in the "TO " field of their mailbox.

Is it possible to hide other recipients and only show the e-mail address which will be specific to that recipient ?

Here's my code:

Programmatically activating an admin-approved form template to a site collection?

I am currently programmatically generating infopath forms with code-behind, and for each generated form, I need to be able to host the form template as a content type. Since I have a farm solution, I know that I would usually have to publish manually to admin-approved form template as opposed to form libraries or content types directly and afterwards create content types which reference those form templates. I was wondering what I would need to do to achieve the following results:

1) Programmatically activate a form template to a site collection (this is the big question mark for me)

2) Programmatically generate a content type which references said form template (I believe I already have this part down using the SP Object Model)

The environment I am building in uses SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition, InfoPath2010, .NET 3.5, VS 2010.

Any assistance would be MUCH appreciated.

Publishing an Administrator Approved Form Programmatically

I'm hoping someone out there can help with this challenge?

I have a form that is being programmatically generated which I need to publish to SharePoint as, Administrator Approved. I need to use the form as a content type for the application we are developing which will live in SharePoint.

I have no problem programmatically setting it to, "Full Trust" but I can't seem to find a way to programmatically publish the form as, "Administrator Approved". Don't worry about the bit in Central Admin with uploading the form template and activating it. I have that part working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for Your Help,

Programmatic update of InfoPath form XML is stripping off tags

I have a C# program that is looping through all of the forms (browser enabled) in my forms library and injecting an XML node into each of them (for a newly promoted field).  For some reason, when the XML is saved back to the form, the first few tags are being stripped off.  Specifically, these tags are:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?mso-infoPathSolution name="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:Contractor-DB-Form:-myXSD-2009-09-10T18-19-55" solutionVersion="" productVersion="" PIVersion="" href="http://echouat.rbs.us/npe/FormServerTemplates/Contractor_DB_Form.xsn"?>
<?mso-application progid="InfoPath.Document" versionProgid="InfoPath.Document.2"?>

My code to update the XML is as follows:

        private static SPListItem InsertXmlNode(SPListItem infoPathForm, string nodeToUpdateStr, string nodeToInsertStr,
            string nodeInnerXmlStr, string firstNode)
            //load form into xml document

Update a WPF Form from an object within a BackgroundWorker

Hello together,

I got stuck. :(  I want to capture a lot of images from a camera and after every new image, my UI should be updated ...

There is a Camera class (singleton) with a Capture method. This is doing the capturing of the data and stores them into an array. If I start now a measuring, a WPF form (e.g. with an image control and an abort button) should open and start the capturing of the images in the background. This is not a problem. But if I want to update the image control after every new image, my Camera.Capture method has to "inform" the form about that. But how? It tried to pass a delegate to the Camera.Capture method. But if this is called, it throws a System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException.

What is the "right / best" way to do this?

Thank you,

How to prepopulate information from sharepoint list to a web form

i was working on a registration form which requires user information and save it to the sharepoint list. i was wondering if im able to search on the list item according to user's login information, and prepopulate it if information is matched. i did the search part by using query, for example, the first name:

SPList IsExist;

   IsExist = SPContext.Current.Web.Lists["TTCVIP"];

   SPQuery query = new SPQuery();

   query.Query = buildQuery();//search for first name = loggin name

   SPListItemCollection found = IsExist.GetItems(query);

   //if yes, prepopulate the form

   if (found.Count > 0)

//if no, prepopulate user information from profile manager

i then want to pull the information out from the list and prepopulate to the form. after submit the form, there is button, so when user click submit, it will show the inforamtion he has input(also need to pull info from list), i did this part by using the following code:

public void readFromList()
       SPSite oSiteCollection = SPContext.Current.Site;
       SPList oList = oSiteCollection.AllWebs["/en/admin"].Lists["TTCVIP"];
       SPView oListView = oList.Views["All Items"];
       SPListItemCollection collectListItems = oList.GetItems(oListView);

       foreach (SPListItem oListItem
