Error displaying like not enough available memory or disk space for adding the excel

Hi,

I am creating excel file and adding the values to the cells thorugh code.

Application is working fine without deployment, but when I deployed this web application in both in my local system  and server 2003 system I am getting the following  error.

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005.

Then I changed the settings by going into component services and  for the "COM Security" tab I have added everyone, network, aspnet, interactive accounts and given full permissions.

Then I got the following error at this line "Workbook WB = app.Workbooks.Add(Type.Missing);"

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Microsoft Office Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space

disk space everything is fine. I am not getting what to do?

If any pointers please suggest me.

Thanks

file upload in chunks or not buffering in memory before writing to disk?

What are the options for handling file uploads to reduce the memory footprint?  Is there a way to upload in chunks?  Is there a way to stream upload directly to disk instead of loading entire file in server memory?

Thanks

I received the following error...*****System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: There is insufficient free space on disk volume 'C:\' to create the database. The database requires 2739929088 additional free bytes, while only 801185792 bytes are available. (Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo)*****I have looked at the solution recommended on this forum http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=79848 but I am still baffled as to why it says that I don't have enough disk space?  I ran the RESTORE FILELISTONLY command and it told me that the "size" was 1.4 GB and I've got 60GB left. I am starting to resolve that my .BAK is corrupt.  Are there any other reasons as to why I am unable to restore my backup? Thanks for any help in advance!

processing measure group : memory error : the operation cannot be completed because the memory quota

Hi, I'm stucked with this problem. Untill last week, the cube processed without any problem. Since last week, I'm getting this error. I have been searching in different forums, and I tried some suggestions, like changing memory limit properties, ... It is getting worse.. So I reset all properties to default again. I am running SQL-Server + MS-AS 2005 SP2 on server with 4GB of memory. This is a dedicated server, nothing else is running on it. The fact table has +/- 14 million records, several dimensions en 2 measure groups. I don't have problems to process the dimensions, but when I try to process the cube or the measure groups of that cube separately , the error persists. I have changed the datasource view, and replaced the fact table by a Named query. Even when I put a 'WHERE datapart( year , fact_date ) >= 2009 ' clause to reduce the number of records to +/- 5 million, I'm still getting the error. I don't understand what is wrong, the cube always processed since +/- 2 years. As I said, I have found a lot of this kind of Issues on different websites, I have been trying to change some properties. But this still does not solve the problem. Could it be that MS-AS settings are corrupt somewhere ? Is it a good idea to re-install MS-AS 2005 + SP1 + SP2 ? Or is there another reason possible ? I really appreciate any kind of help, because I'm

Hi All: We have installed SQL Server 2008 Integration Services in a Windows 2003 machine. RAM capacity is 4GB We have a created a sample project with necessary data source, data view, cubes and dimension definition. When we try to build the cube, it is throwing the below exception Memory error: The operation cannot be completed because the memory quota estimate (1504MB) exceeds the available system memory (1331MB). We even tried with data view of few columns but encountering the same error. How to fix this issue? Please help Regards, Swami

Can anyone explain how SQL Server performance scales with CPUs/Cores, memory, disk drives, etc?

I have experienced the situation where our application running on an expensive system with two 4 core CPUs ran slower than on a cheap machine with one dual core CPU. Both machines had similar memory capacity. In each case, the same query was being run by only one user. It would be nice to find a way to increase performance, but if adding cores doesn't help, what can a poor developer do? Customers get annoyed when they spend a truckload of money on a new server and nothing changes... Another potential problem is when customers have an expensive SAN system Sometimes the performance is much slower then on a system with conventional storage. Can anyone explain the relationship between SQL Server perfomance and hardware ?

DIsk Space due to Queries

HI All,   I have a table which is pretty big- couple of billion rows. When I do a select on this query, I run out of disk-space on C drive. However, neither data nor log files on C drive so why would C drive run out of space? Any thoughts? Thanks in  advance.

know the hard disk's SQL Server space available from SQL Query

I would be able to determine how much hard disk space is available on the Server with a SQL Query, and from an other computer on the LAN.

How can I do something?

Thanks for your help.

Backup SharePoint 2010 farm configuration settings only get an error for not enough disk space when

Hello

I am trying to do a backup the Backup using the Backup and Restore feature in SharePoint 2010 Central Administration.  I just want to backup only the farm configuration settings only.

so I followed the GUI

Open CA Backup and Restore, checked the Farm checkbox,  click Next

I chose the following:

Backup Type :  Full

Data to backup:  Back up only configuration settings

Backup File location  :   use an UNC shared location   \\servername\sharedname

at this point,  I see the Estimated disk space required is:   1.2 GB

the server hard disk available space is  30 GB

but when i click the Start Backup,  i got an error in RED saying "There is not enough disk space. Free additional space on your hard disk and then try again. Approximate amount of space needed is 40 GB.   Amount of space free on disk:  30 GB."

Why is this happened?  and the estimated disk spaced required still showed at 1.2GB

If anyone had experience this problem and have a solution, please advice

Thanks

Swanl

WCF Security / Not enough memory is available to complete this request

In our application WCF seems to have problems when authenticating an incoming message. I configured WCF to output a detailed trace-file and viewed it in Microsoft Service Trace Viewer.

The authentication throws three nested exceptions back to the client:

Message: Authentication failed on the remote side (the stream might still be available for additional authentication attempts).

Level 2:

System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089

I would like to add the log-file to this post, but I can't find the button to do so ;-)
