No such interface supported - running windows mobile phone application

I open sample project, build goes OK.
When i try to run it (or just deploy it) i get error "No such interface supported" and project does not strat.

It was working ok a day ago, i had to install VS 2008 since and this is my suspect No1.

Any ideas? Thank you.

Running on Windows 7.

Backward Compatibility of Windows Mobile 6 application

Hello, I have a app developed to run on Windows Mobile 6 (using VS 2008). The requirement now is to get it running on Windows CE 5.0. (basically backport it to the very old version of windows mobile OS as the client is reluctant to upgrade the mobile OS) I did some research but havent found a convincing solution yet and still dont know whether this is even possible. If it is possible, can you please let me know the detailed procedure? My environment details are: Win 7 (64 bit), running Visual Studio 2008. The application uses SQL CE 3.5. Thanks, P Joe

Application running in WinXP with a Windows 7 theme

I have an application that runs fine on all OS' except when I run it on Windows XP with a Windows 7 theme running (runs fine with standard XP theme). I was wondering if anyone has come across this issue before and/or has an idea on the cause and solution to it. Thanks. Dion

How to get message from Windows to actually running application in WPF?

I spend around few hours to find something about my issue on Internet. But I have no idea what to write in Google... :/
So I thought maybe it will be better to write here.
I wrote an application which can save and open it own files. Then I added special registry key and now when I double-click on a file associated with my application, Windows (OS) opens my application and load the file. Most application work like this and thats OK.
But what I want to do?
I want my application to be opened just once. So when I double-click on a file the application will start running and load the first file. But when I double-click on second file (during my application is already running) windows will open second application. And I want to load this second file to already running application. What should I do??

PS - I am writing WPF application in Visual 2010 with .Net4.

Make WPF application look the same on all supported Windows versions

Hi Folks,

I've been developing a WPF application for the past two years on an XP machine. It's mostly been used within my company where everyone else has been using XP, and I have gone to great lengths to make it look good. Now everyone is in the process of upgrading to Windows 7, and the application doesn't look so hot on Windows 7. A few subtle changes in the Windows 7 theme make custom visual changes I introduced on XP look like an eye sore. We are letting some beta customers use this software now, and we plan to distribute more broadly in the future, so I need to make sure the application looks good on any OS that WPF supports. I would be perfectly happy with having the application looking identical on XP, Vista, and W7. I thought I could achieve this by adding the following to my App.xaml file:

I need to make an application that can send sms from a desktop pc using a windows mobile phone as a gsm modem. It can be a desktop app or a web app.

The mobile phone is connected via USB.

I don't want to use third party sms gateways.
