Where is it?

Posted By:      Posted Date: August 27, 2010    Points: 0   Category :SharePoint

I know this is a stupid question likely but I can't figure this out.  We have a server (2003) with Sharepoint 3.0 installed.  Someone logged into it using a web browser and showed me all the cool content they've uploaded.  I need to manage this server so I log into the console, run the Sharepoint 3.0 Central Administration.  There's no sites, no content... it's like Sharepoint was installed and never configured or used yet there's a whole site full of content in there somewhere.  If I go to All Site Content, there's nothing there, except a few thousand documents in the help folder.  If I go into IIS Manager there's a sharepoint app and a central configuration app.  There's no content under the "Sharepoint - 80" folder other than default folders like 'aspnet_client' and so on.  So I looked up the home directory of the "Sharepoint - 80" site.  There's nothing there! (other than default files and folders)

Where's the content for this thing and how do I access its configuration?  There's a site here somewhere, where is it?
