conditionedActivityGroup , replicator and logToHistoryList

Posted By:      Posted Date: August 27, 2010    Points: 0   Category :SharePoint

Hi in workflow i use conditionedActivityGroup1-> replicatorActivity1->codeActivity ->logToHistoryListActivity

in codeActivity i set a dynamic HistoryDescription of logToHistoryListActivity

logToHistoryListActivity1.HistoryDescription = "number" +number.ToString();

Workflow works fine but the value of history description is always empty string on Wrkstat page.

then im set a HistoryDescription of this property in Design of workflow to a static string this is works.

Whats the problem of conditionedActivityGroup , replicator and this log ?

Modify Replicator InitialChildData at runtime

Is the below feasible?

I have a replicator activity in SharePoint workflow with an InitialChildData bound property and UntilCondition. When the activity is initialized, the InitialChildData contains specific number of child activities but this number might change at runtime (i.e. additional children shall be executed) .

The UntilCondition is set to false and a new item is added to the InitialChildData but the new child is not executed. Initially I set the workflow to complete after the replicator ends, in this case it doesn't complete but doesn't create/execute the newly added item to the InitialChildData.

In summary, is it possible to change the InitialChildData after the Replicator is initialized, if yes can you please guide me through the necessary steps.
