Hey, I wanted to replicate a very complex workflow which I have already created on one document library (say A) to another document library (say B).
I don’t want to create this from scratch as everything is similar for the workflow (for document library B). Can anyone provide any technique to do this in SharePoint Designer?
Everything was working great until the last few days when I made the SP site more robust. I am now ready to create a custom New Form so that my "requestor" doesn't have to deal with all of the fields. I want to create a custom Edit List so that I can hide
all of the flags that get tripped while completing workflows. This morning I tried to create the NewForm (as I have done in the past) but nothing loads. I tried creating it with a different list, and it loaded fine so I know it has something to do with my
list. I tried executing workflows so that I might be able to narrow down the problem, but now no workflows work even though they did a couple of days ago.
One of the items added as a "pause until" workflow. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I also have roughly 85 fields. I haven't seen anywhere on the blogs that the number of fields is an issue but you never know.
Can anyone help? Please?
I have created a designer workflow for sending the mail to goup of people when a new file is uploaded in document library.
Mail was not sent to the group but the workflow status is showing as completed.
Under workflow history it is showing Event type--Error
User ID---System Account
Description--The e-mail message cannot be sent. Make sure the outgoing e-mail settings for the server are configured correctly
Prevously the mail was delivered successfully to the same group but now it is showing the above error.
Help me in this.
I am so happy finding your forum.
I have installed MOSS 2007 with SP2 on a Windows Server 2008. I had no problem in configuring and creating Web Applications and Sites. However, there seems to be a problem in applying SharePoint
Designer Workflows to Lists in my Web application. The problem is that the workflow I create to start automatically when an item in the List is changed doesn't work. The workflows works fine if it's started manually from an item in the list, but it's doesn’t
work when it's started automatically with an item change in the list. I have checked the workflow on another MOSS 2007 installation on Server 2003 and it works fine. Have I missed something in the configurations?
Thanks for y
