Problem to create assembly which depends on other dll's from SQL Server

I am developing an application in .Net but I need to access to some procedures in ASP.Net since SQL Server.I have got it but i have problems to assembly the dll if it has dependencies of another dll's.I have read that if a dll need other dll it call it automatically but when I try to assembly my class in .NET there is the next error: Create failed for SqlAssembly 'ClaseEjemplo'. Assembly 'csyt.dal, version=, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=null.' was not found in the SQL catalog. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider) Nevertheless if I the class hasn't another dependencies it works.The class I am trying to assembly is ClaseEjemplo.If I try to use the procedure of other class "'csyt.dal" I have problems.If ClaseEjemplo hasn't dependencies it works perfectly!My class ClaseEjemplo is: using System;using System.Collections.Generic;using System.Text;using Csyt.DAL;using Csyt.Info; namespace ClaseEjemplo{    public class Class1    {        public static long devolucion()        {            AIAlarmaDB.TipoCondicion aux1 = new AIAlarmaDB.TipoCondicion();                        AIAlarmaDB aux = new AIAlarmaDB();            aux1=aux.GetTipoCondicionById(1);            return aux1.Id;        }     }}Thanks in advance

Problem upgrading to MVC3 - System.Web.Routing

I'm trying to upgrade to .NET 4 and MVC 3.

When trying to compile my project, I get the error:

Error 1 The type or namespace name 'Routing' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Web' (are you missing an assembly reference?) C:\Users\spencer\Desktop\weblauncher\Common\MVCConfig.cs 4 18 Common

The type or namespace name 'Routing' does not exist in the namespace 'System.Web' (are you missing an assembly reference?)

I do have the System.Web.Routing in my references for the project.

BUT - when I try to view System.Web.Routing in the OBJECT BROWSER, nothing is inside!  The System.Web.Routing namespace is not in there - the entire thing is empty!  Could it that the dll is corrupted?  I tried to reinstall the .NET 4 and MVC 3 stuff, but its still empty!

The dll is coming from here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.0\System.Web.Routing.dll

and the runti

This is frustrating, and I don't know how to solve it.

I have a strange problem. I am adding a LinqDatasource object, and set the context:

        protected void LinqDataSource_ContextCreating(object sender, LinqDataSourceContextEventArgs e)
            e.ObjectInstance = new KaruselaDataContext(ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["ConnectionString"].ConnectionString);

Then I get this error:
The type 'System.Data.Linq.DataContext' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'System.Data.Linq, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'.

On web.config I already have this:
<add assembly="System.Data.Linq, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089"/>

NOTE: The datacontext is in a different project (DLL proect) where I added a refernce to System.Data.Linq.

is there another way adding a refernce to a web project? or only though teh web.config?

MySql.Data assembly problem

I added refernece MySql.Data to my project. My web.config looks like that:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
                <add assembly="MySql.Data, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=C5687FC88969C44D"/>

But when in ServerExplorer I try "Add Connection..." I can't find "MySql Database" in the "Choose Data Source" dialog box?

What the problem can be?

Windows Management Instrumentation: Create WMI Providers to Notify Applications of System Events

Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is based on an industry-wide standard for notifications used to manage objects and devices across a network. By receiving WMI events, an application can be notified of changes to data in WMI itself. This allows the developer to notify the consuming application that certain system configuration data has changed, without the application having to poll WMI continuously for this data. The author presents an explanation of the different types of events in WMI, then goes on to develop an event provider.

HOWTO add a C#.NET library to SQL Server as an assembly that uses such references as system.web.

HOWTO add a C#.NET library to SQL Server as an assembly that uses such references as system.web. I have a C# library (dll) I want to add to SQL Server via "CREATE ASSEMBLY", but the DLL uses these references: Microsoft.VisualBasic System System.Core System.Data System.Data.DataSetExtensions System.Drawing System.Management System.Web System.Web.Extensions System.Web.Mobile System.Web.Services System.Xml System.Xml.Linq And just to be clear, the DLL is a .NET 3.5 app, with the SQL Server being SQL Server 2008. Right off the bat, the "CREATE ASSEMBLY" call fails due to System.Web, which strangely, is The CREATE ASSEMBLE says this error: Msg 10301, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Assembly 'MyLibrary' references assembly 'system.web, version=, culture=neutral, publickeytoken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a.', which is not present in the current database. SQL Server attempted to locate and automatically load the referenced assembly from the same location where referring assembly came from, but that operation has failed (reason: 2(The system cannot find the file specified.)). Please load the referenced assembly into the current database and retry your request. I have tried to use VS 2010, to create a SQL Server DB project, and it point blank does not let one add references to things like System.Web. When trying to use "Add Ref", VS 2010 literally lo

I am starting to resolve that my .BAK is corrupt.  Are there any other reasons as to why I am unable to restore my backup?Thanks for any help in advance!

Problem with DuplexChannelFactory(System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext, System.ServiceModel.Descripti

I have derived a class from DuplexChannelFactory, and one of the constructors of the derived class takes System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext and System.ServiceModel.Description.ServiceEndpoint arguments. I simply pass them down to the base DuplexChannelFactory class, e.g.: public DerivedDuplexChannelFactory(System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext instanceContext, System.ServiceModel.Description.ServiceEndpoint endPoint) : base(instanceContext, endPoint) {} The problem I am running into that I get timeout exceptions when trying to callback the client during a service call, e.g.: Client subscribes to Service Client calls some Service method, during which call the Service will callback to the client Before I go further, if I call down to a different base constructor of DuplexChannelFactory, things work perfectly, e.g.: public DerivedDuplexChannelFactory(System.ServiceModel.InstanceContext instanceContext, System.ServiceModel.Description.ServiceEndpoint endPoint) : base(instanceContext, endPoint.Binding, endPoint.Address) {} If I use the former, I get the following exception: "This request operation sent to http://schemas.microsoft.com/2005/12/ServiceModel/Addressing/Anonymous did not receive a reply within the configured timeout (00:00:59.9820000). The time allotted to this operation may have been a portion of a longer timeout. This may be because the service is still pr

Problem with System.Web.UI.DataBinder ??

Hi. I want to edit some fields in GridView so i wrote a code, but i need to use Eval() method and rowcommands so as i read in book i need to use ystem.Web.UI.DataBinder class which is part of System.Web.UI. I added but still got the problem:'ASP.default3_aspx' does not contain a definition for 'GridView7_RowDeleted' and no extension method 'GridView7_RowDeleted' accepting a first argument of type 'ASP.default3_aspx' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)Here's my assemblies:using System; using System.Collections.Generic; using System.Linq; using System.Web; using System.Web.UI; using System.Web.UI.WebControls;using System;using System.Collections.Generic;using System.Linq;using System.Web;using System.Web.UI;using System.Web.UI.WebControls;

Is it possible to Register Assembly System.Runtime.Serialization.dll

I am trying to run a Virtual Earth web service call from SQL server, and need to registier the System.Runtime.Serialization.dll assembly in SQL.  Is this possible?ThanksJay

run-time error's do not jump to problem line but to assembly with some xml error.

  Used too, when there was a runtime error the ide would break at the line that caused the problem. Now I'm thrown into some assembly code with the error System.Windows.Markup.XamlParseException was unhandled   Message='The invocation of the constructor on type 'Main.MainWindow' that matches the specified binding constraints threw an exception.' Line number '4' and line   Which is extremely uninformative and inefficient. I can look down the chain to find the error thrown but this still is not very informative. How the heck can I get it back to the way it used to be? This has something to do with wpf and the assembly code has System.Windows.Markup.XamlReader.RewrapException as the address. I spend anywhere from 10x to 10000x as long because of this. If the code is simple then I still have to read the error code and click a button which takes time.   Also, I'd rather it break on the line and quit the process as it used to do. I don't need JIT debugging.
