The IdnMapping class is a great tool for handling internationalized domain names. We depend on it, as we are an internet service provider.
Unfortunately it still only supports the IDNA2003 protocol, while IDNA2008 has been released in 2010.
Now DENIC, the registry of the most popular country code top level domain in the world, has started to permit the usage of the German letter ß - (LATIN SMALL LETTER SHARP S; U+00DF) within domain names, wich is handled differently in IDNA2003 and
IDNA2008. So, we cannot rely on the IdnMapping class anymore, since it doesn't work for these domain names. The situation is quite annoying.
