I've tried to create a custom workflow in SharePoint Designer 2007 that simply checks a choice in a particular column in a document library for either yes or no. Both conditional branches send out an email. My problem is two-fold:
1. Whenever I try to start the workflow (when an item is changed or manually) it gets stuck on Failed to Start (retrying), it'll hang for about 2-3 minutes then completes the workflow. I've seen this article (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/wael/archive/2008/01/11/workflow-failed-on-start-retrying.aspx)
but not sure what "tokens" they are talking about and where do they want me to run that command from?
2. It appears that if I have another instance of the workflow running in the doc library and try to initiate another (by making a change), it doesn't start. I have to manual start it, any ideas on that?
