Basically, we have branded our SharePoint 2007 site and we do not want users to go to pages that look "sharepointy" like the list view etc. I would like to remove the pages like layouts, allitems.aspx etc coming up from search results. When we have a hundred
sites, we end up having so many lists in each site that it becomes impossible to remove each and every item. At the same time, I do not want to exclude the list itself from search by managing in crawl rules as we have used content query web parts that
query from the list to display the content with nice looking branded pages. What I would like to do is for example take this URL :
http://Server/site/Lists/ListName/AllItems.aspx to be excluded from being displayed in the search results. I want to do this for all the 100 sites that I have got and I do not want to go through
the cumbersome way of putting hundred URL's in search result removal.
Is there any easier way to do it?
