I setup a two-node Windows 2008R2 cluster on an iSCSI SAN. The setup went through fine. A few days ago, the customer power off the iSCSI switches but forgot to shutdown the cluster first. Right now when I run the cluster validation test, this alert
"Cluster Disk X may require running chkdsk.exe as part of the validation process." All the cluster disks have the same alert. I tried to put some cluster disk in maintenance mode and ran chkdsk /F, not error found, but when I ran the validation
test again, the same cluster disk still show the alert.
here is my questions:
1. any way to get rid of that alerts during the validation test?
2. I also have an active/active sql 2008 (with sp2) cluster running on top of this cluster. how can I run chkdsk on those cluster disks that have sql instance running on it?
thanks in advance.
