Dear All,

I am using a client program(c#) which calls the web service.

I am getting the below error:

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> Index was outside the bounds of the array.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)

   at KrtoPGMSSQLWebServiceClient.ManipDataExportClient.InsertManipData(DataSet ManipTablesDS)

KrtoPGMSSQLWebServiceClient--is namespace name

ManipDataExportClient--is class name

InsertManipData--is function name (which calls the DataSet  ManipTablesDS)

I want to know that  whether i am getting this error at the time of calling web service or while accessing web service and why.

Plzzzz help me solve this...

Thank You

System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: SECU1075

I'm not sure if this question is appropriate for this forum.  If not, I apologize and would ask someone to direct me to a forum or community that might be able to help.  I'm very new to the whole C# thing.

I have designed a console application as a web service client which is able to talk with a webservice.  I converted the console application into a DLL and called the DLL from another C# program and am getting following error message.

SECU1075: An error was discovered processing the <wsse:Security> header | System.Web.Services |    at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)...

I'm told that the problem is that the DLL version doesn't know where to find the policycache.config information.  Can anyone tell me how to circumvent this problem?

SSRS 2008 System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException

Hello All,

I am having difficulties configuring reports to run on my web server. I have a web server that sits in the DMZ and a SQL server and SSRS server that sit behind the firewall. From the WFE I can browse to the report server and run reports but through the web application I receive an error. On our staging environment the reports work and I have compared the two environment and everything seems to be configured the same but cannot find the cause of the problem. Any help on what troubleshooting steps I could take would be appreciated.

Unable to connect to SQL Server 2005 remotly, all client protocols are blank

I have an installation of SQL 2005 and had issues connecting remotly. Looking at the client protocolols, they are all blank. I can see that TCPIP, Named Pipes, VIA, etc. are 'enabled', but where the words 'TCPIP', 'Names Pipes', etc. should be, it's just blank. I tried to install SQL 2008R hoping the Client Protocols would be corrected during the installaion, but they were not. I'm assuming the issue with the Client Protocols not showing up is a symptom of the problem. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

SSRS 2008 - report manager: System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server

I have an instance of Reporting Services 2008 running on Windows 2003 server.  So, the webservice URL is running on port 801, and runs fine (I can browse reports from that directory, and upload / deploy new reports and overwrite existing reports. Report manager is set to use port 800 (IIS is also on that machine running port 80).  When I attempt to connect to report manager, I get the following error, with a link to "Home" in report manager (which brings me back to the existing error page):    Unable to connect to the remote server  In the logfiles for reporting services, the following error is there: " System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.   Any ideas? Windows Firewall is NOT running on this machine.   Thanks, Chrisrjp

In Reporting Services: Request for the permission of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlClientPermissio

Hello all,In Reporting Services through http://myserver/mydbinstance/Pages/Report.aspx blah de blah blah, I get this error:Request for the permission of type 'System.Data.SqlClient.SqlClientPermission, System.Data, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.Actually, the report runs just fine, but some fields had the famous #Error in them. I put some old fashioned debug in my report to TRY, CATCH, END TRY and get the problem to the report so that I could see this report finally run in production. Yes, it runs just fine in VS2005. I have custom code in the report code window that does its own custom connection to an SQL database through "System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection" and "System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand" to pull in data that is not part of any of the datasources in the report. When I execute the report through the Report Manager or Report site under IIS, the report will run, but I get these errors in every field that uses functions to populate the data.I have searched the web for 3 days now, and the best answers involve using either CASPOL or the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Configuration wizard in Administrative Tools on the server. (I understand that the wizard does the same thing as CASPOL, just through a GUI.) I have followed those steps, but still get the error.I do not know what I need to do to make these DLLs th
