Direct3D10 and WPF airspace

Posted By:      Posted Date: October 27, 2010    Points: 0   Category :WPF

Right now the only way I've found to create a WPF user control that renders Direct3D10 scene in it is using D3DImage. D3DImage requires Direct3D9 objects. I don't want to use win form host because of airspace issues of the control.

Is there any plan to release an interop version that works only with Direct3D10/11 objects?

Working with Direct3D9 objects has many issues, like dealing with device lost, creating special render targets, etc..

Thanks in advance,
