I wish to know how SQL Server 2005 is linked to Windows server 2003 Environment. I have knowledge about oracle databases. But Microsofet products are new to me.
To put it simple purpose of SQL Server 2005 and Windows server 2003. How both are linked ?
This machine had sql server 2008 installed. I removed it since the upgrade would not work. The machine currently doesn't have any sql installs. The error fails during the Setup Support Files step. Any
help on this would be greatly appreciated. I've included last part of file since you can only include 60k chars here.

I am trying to install MOSS 2007 SP1 on wingows server 2008. After the licence agreement I am being redirected to a window where I can select "Server Type" skipping the window where we can select Installation type(Basic or Advanced).
And "Complete" and "WebFrontEnd" options are diabled and "Standalone" option is only enabled on the "Server Type" window.
Please help me regarding this.
