wss2.0 edit drop-down menu does not display

Hi all

I have a user who is unable to view the edit drop-down menu next to documents in a document library.

The user was able to view the drop-down before, but it seems since upgrading to either Office 2007 or IE7 that the problem is occuring. The user is an administrator on the site so it doesn't seem to be permissions issue.

I have had the user run an Office Diagnostics but this did not resolve the problem.

Any ideas please?

Show SubSites as Drop Down in Global Navigation

I am migrating my SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint 2010. I have recreated all the sites and subsites for my site. I'm having trouble getting the global navigation to show the sites as a drop down like I had in SharePoint 2007. My SharePoint navigation shows the link to the top level site (my home page), and tabs for each of the subsites. Some of those subsites have subsites as well, and it's these that I want to have show up in a drop down. I have tried customizing the master page but cannot seem to get the right combination to get it working.

I updated the SharePoint:AspMenu attributes to use StaticDisplayLevels="2" and MaximumDynamicDisplayLevels="3". I've tried lots of other combinations, but I'm not getting the drop down menus showing the subsites. My SharePoint 2007 master page has StaticDisplayLevels="2" and MaximumDynamicDisplayLevels="1", which also is not working in SharePoint 2010.

How do I get my drop downs to work?

horizontal navigation menu instead of vertical

Hello I'm a newbie and using the internet/publication site type. Is there a simple way to have the Navigation (menu) oriented in a horizontal with dropdown menus instead of vertical? It would also be nice if the horizontal navigation wouldn't not scroll with the rest of the page. Thanks! Can not show image in Filter drop down menu in SPGridView - Sharepoint 2007

Hi, I can not show image in the filter drop down menu (at header) of SPGridView in Sharepoint 2007.  For example: I have 3 rows as "_layout/images/1.gif", "_layout/images/2.gif", "_layout/images/3.gif". When user click on the column's header, the SPGridView just displayed filter menu and it always displayed the text (_layout/images/1.gif) not an image as I expected. So please help me to solve this problem. Thanks a lot Dan

Display each new line of a sharepoint mutliline text field as choice in drop down box.

The question pretty much says it all. I have a lot of data I need to represent, and this would be the best way to do it. I have a multiline text field in sharepoint, where each line has a choice that should be a seperate choice in a text box. How do I do this? I have the data connection set up, and I would be fine with adding some sort of tag after each line, if that would make it so infopath can somehow parse out those tags, and interpret each "chunk" as a choice. Thanks in advance for your help.
