I have a user who is unable to view the edit drop-down menu next to documents in a document library.
The user was able to view the drop-down before, but it seems since upgrading to either Office 2007 or IE7 that the problem is occuring. The user is an administrator on the site so it doesn't seem to be permissions issue.
I have had the user run an Office Diagnostics but this did not resolve the problem.
Any ideas please?
I am migrating my SharePoint 2007 site to SharePoint 2010. I have recreated all the sites and subsites for my site. I'm having trouble getting the global navigation to show the sites as a drop down like I had in SharePoint 2007. My SharePoint navigation
shows the link to the top level site (my home page), and tabs for each of the subsites. Some of those subsites have subsites as well, and it's these that I want to have show up in a drop down. I have tried customizing the master page but cannot seem to get
the right combination to get it working.
I updated the SharePoint:AspMenu attributes to use StaticDisplayLevels="2" and MaximumDynamicDisplayLevels="3". I've tried lots of other combinations, but I'm not getting the drop down menus showing the subsites. My SharePoint 2007 master page has StaticDisplayLevels="2"
and MaximumDynamicDisplayLevels="1", which also is not working in SharePoint 2010.
How do I get my drop downs to work?
I have a pdf file that I'd like to open and edit. The pdf file just opens, and doesn't ask if it should be opened as a read only or edit option. My colleague is able to select edit mode as a drill down, but I can't figure out how to add this
functionality into my document library... does anyone have a solution?
I have an Intranet site that contains several departmental intranet sites.
Is it possible to have a web part on the homepage of the top level intranet that displays all recently added content to the various sub sites ?
