I am using .NET 3.5 (VS 2008). I have a SplitContainer with a TreeView on one side and a form with various fields, tabs, etc on the other. When I select one of the tree nodes, the node is highlighted. The node loses its highlighting when
the user clicks on one of the tabs or enters a field on the other side of the SplitContainer. Although no highlighting is visible, the treeView.SelectNode() still returns the proper node, so it appears that the tree node is still selected, just not visually
highlighted. The problem is that without the highlighting to distinguish which node is selected, the user can easily get lost. Is there a build-in mechanism to maintain some sort of highlighting on the selected node when the cursor is moved to
another form. For example, in Windows Explorer, if you select a tree node, the node is highlighted in a dark blue. If you were to then place the cursor in the Address box, the selected node changes to have a beige color. This still shows
which node was selected.
Is there a built-in solution (ie some property to set on the tree view or nodes) that would help fix my issue or do I have to build my own solution to mimic something like what Windows Explorer does? I wanted to avoid having to put event handlers on
all tabs and form fields that would be used to &

how to create jquery tree view using database no MVC use
I have used jquery jstree and dynatree persistance example using check boxes and found the same logic
The thing is that the if for example there is a parent and 4 child.
a) i select all the 4 child (parent get auto selected) the 4 child and the parent node id get posted to the controller.
b) But if i select less then 4 children (parent get auto selected) only child node ids get posted to the controller.
Is there any way even if i select less then 4 children all my selected nodes included the parent get posted to the controller?
wrote a method to conquor this but if i can do it in conventional way .

I need to know a way to disable nodes in a tree view when a particular node is checked (the leafs has check boxes), currently I was able to do it but my problem is I have check the check box, then click on the node in order to get it disabled, this not an user friendly at all. I want it to happen when I check the checkbox in the tree node.
Does any one has any suggestions
Protected Sub repLocationsToCompare_ItemDataBound(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.ListViewItemEventArgs) Handles repLocationsToCompare.ItemDataBoundDim enumerable As IEnumerable = System.Web.UI.XPathBinder.Select(e.Item.DataItem, "./str[@name=""thumb""]")Now, it might be that the current dataitem does NOT contain the <str name="thumb"></str> node. So in that case when I do this: Dim name As String = enumerable.Cast(Of XmlElement)().Select(Function(x) x.Attributes("name")).FirstOrDefault().Valuethe enumerable throws an error of object reference not set to instance of object.I tried testing it like this:Dim enumerable As IEnumerable = System.Web.UI.XPathBinder.Select(e.Item.DataItem, "./str[@name=""thumb""]")if enumerable isnot nothing thenDim name As String = enumerable.Cast(Of XmlElement)().Select(Function(x) x.Attributes("name")).FirstOrDefault().Valueend ifBut still I get the error.How can I test if the node exists for the current dataitem?
This is weird. I'm trying to get my feet wet with WF 4 and have dropped a flowchart onto the design surface. After adding another activity I want to connect it to the Start node, but it's not available for selecting?!? It's visible but no box appears around
it on mouse over.
Another symptom I noticed is that when I double-click a workflow xaml file, it's not loading the designer, but the xml view instead.
I tried repairing my VS2010 install but nothing has changed.
The jQuery can't find the selected input type, it supposed to output the auto selected radiobutton's alt value of "sportswear" but instead selected the alt value of "sportname".
I hope i make sense this, i have a repeater and on click of a button, the corresponding div should open up, I can do this when it is hardcoded however since its a repeater there will be different IDs. Here is my repeater;
<asp:Repeater ID="rptProfileStatus" OnItemDataBound="rptProfileStatus_OnItemDataBound"
<div align="left" class="post_box">
<asp:Label ID="lblDate" Font-Underline="false"
<a href="#" runat="server" class="comment" id="ahrefReply"></a>
<a href="#" class="commentsnr" id="2">2 comments</a>
<a href="#" id="A2" class="delete_update"></a>
