I just created a SQL Server Project in VS 2008.
I am doing this because I want to call a .net assembly to perform a complicated calculation.
My calculation function resides in my business logic dll.
Why I can't add the reference of my business logic dll in the sql server project?ÃÂ Am i doing something wrong?
It is very ridiculous if I cannot reference my business logic dll in sql server assembly.ÃÂ Because business logic is NOT implmented in a so called 'SQL Server Project' and if I want to use that logic through a CLR assembly, there is no way I can think of.
Why is this limitation?ÃÂ Is there any workaround?
Do I REALLY have to create a 'SQL Server Project'? What if I just create regular class library project and try to add to sql server, will that work?
Please advice, it is really urgent.
