without borders

If you have a table with some rows and columns, and set the background color on the <tr>´s like this:

table.mytable tr

Then you can see the lines that seperates the <tr>´s and <td>´s. Its like the borders that define the tablestructure still has its original color (or is transparent). And it looks quite ugly. How do you avoid this? Is there a way in CSS to make these borders 0 pixels wide?

I know that I can just put the background color on the table instead, but that is not a possible solution in my case.

Thanks alot :)

Build Workflow Designer in VS 2010 shows no borders and arrows

When I watch the TFS 2010 build definitions by double-clicking them, the workflow designer opens. It's close to unusable though, because there are no borders visible around the workflow items and it shows no arrows. Only if I select any item, it gets a light blue title background and border.

I already read here that the "Tools->Options->Workflow Themes" only apply to WF 3.0/3.5 workflows, so I know why it doesn't change anything.

But what can I do to get the "normal" Theme with non-white/invisible borders/arrrows? Is it possible to reinstall WF 4.0 or something?

Edit: I tried repair-installing .NET Framework and repair-installing Visual Studio 2010 but with no effect.

ASP.NET Grid - Merge cells or hide borders

I am working on ASP.NET 4.0 application.I want to bind the data in a datatable to a grid control and i want to do some formatting.

I want to merge the cells or hide the cell border in the first three columns (Merge every 5 cells in a column). And Vertical align the text to center.

Also i need row border at the end of every 5 rows.

For example, If i am binding 10 rows to the Grid i need row border only at the end of 5th and 10th row. And merge every five cells only in the first three columns. All the other columns should not be changed.

I also want to change the background color of the cells in all rows based on the value in that cell.

How to achieve this in ASP.NET 4.0 and which control can be used to display in this format?

we know it can not be:  insert some_table values(N@desc)

National Map w/ County Borders?

Posted By:      Posted Date: October 25, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server

I have had some success implementing county coverage reports for each state utilizing the out-of-the-box state maps that are available from the map gallery.

My business owner would really like to have one enormous national map with the county borders. He may go blind staring at it but that is not my concern.

Is there an national ESRI shapefile with the FIPS code data available somewhere?
