I've been looking for ways to make the PropertyGrid read only. I found a sample here that's closely match to what I need but there's an issue with this sample and I couldn't figure it out http://dotnetfacts.blogspot.com/2008/06/how-to-set-propertygrid-as-read-only.html
I'm using more than one PropertyGrid and when I set one PropertyGrid (custom PropertyGrid) ReadOnly property to True, all of the PropertyGrids (System.Windows.Forms.PropertyGrid)ÃÂ become readonly. It's weird because the code loops the properties of one object but the entire application seems to become readonly.ÃÂ Not only that, when I tried set the ReadOnly property to "True" with any object selected in the PropertyGrid during design time, the PropertyGrid of VS "Properties" panel becomes ReadOnly andÃÂ the entire projectÃÂ becomes readonly.
Can anybody tell me what went wrong? Or could you tell me how to make the PropertyGrid read-only in other way.
Thanks so much.
Here's the code:
