I have what seems to be a simple request but am struggling to find an elegant solution.
I need to be able to navigate to files of types htm, mht, pdf and txt.
My project is a Windows WPF navigation application.
My XAML pages are saved in a subfolder "pages".
The files that I wish to navigate to are saved in a "help" folder.
I would like to be able to easily implement the navigation from a HyperLink or a Button.
The solution needs to work while in VS2010 running in Debug mode or Release mode and then also the deployed solution.
A solution that seems to work is:
1: Adding the folder location as a settings property (e.g. My.Settings.HelpLocation)
1: Adding a button and a webbrowser control to the xaml and
2: then in the button click event...
