i am using the master page from the master page i am opening the child window.so, when ever i opened the child window i want to disable the entire parent window(all the controls present in the parent page) .how can we do it.
I've been trying to make a child window follow it's parent, I've bound the child's Top and Left properties to it's parent and that works for resizing of the parent and when the parent is dragged around the screen. However I've hit a problem when I
maximize and minimize the parent the child doesn't match it's size. I've watched the values of the parents Top and left in the debugger and it seems to get set twice once with a value that matches the new size and again with it's previous value and I guess
this is whats making the child window appear incorrectly. I'm starting to think that just binding to the parents Top and Left properties isn't going to work. Is there a better approach to achieve this?
I have build a WPF application which loads some 3D models. Some of the models have a parent-child relationship, e.g. a tree has some branches and each branch has leaves.
Now I created a class for each type: tree, branch and leave. From within a "branch" object I want to add the leaves with a "AddLeaves()" method. But I don't know what's the best way to access the ViewPort3D object, to which I can add the "leave" objects.
Do I have to implement a "ViewPort3D" member on each class which saves the reference to the viewport? Or is there a easier way to achieve this? Perhaps with DependencyProperies?
How can I access the "children" property of the ViewPort3D object the easiest way?
Hi,we are opening window.open pop-up as child-window from parent window. When i click on parent window then child window is getting minimized. Is there any solution for making child-window not to be minimized when i click on parent window. And child-window should not have minimize and maximized buttons. It should only have close button.(ie., I should be similar as ShowModalDialog ie., look and feel and functionality also).
I'm using cssfriendly control adapter for menu. My asp.net menu control's datasource is a sitemap file I'm using which contains all the urls.
I have the following questions:

Hello ASP.NET community,

The main ListView displays General Information about Sales and the child ListView displays the detailed information about one sale. the child listview is shown only when the user clicks on a link (see included code, DataBind is made on PageLoad) :
ASPX Markup Code :
<asp:listview id="lvSales" runat="server" onitemdatabound="lvSales_ItemDataBound"> <layouttemplate> <table cellspacing="0" border="1" width="250" style="border-collapse:collapse;"> <tr runat="server" id="headerRow"> <th scope="col" style="width:30px;"></th> <th scope="col">SaleNumber</th> </tr> <tr id="itemPlaceHolder" runat="server" enableviewstate="true"/> </table> </layouttemplate> <itemtemplate> <tr id="row" runat="server"> <td style="text-align:center;"><asp:button id="btnShowHideDetails" runat="server" oncommand=&qu
I've been spent the last couple hours trying to work on this issue. I an creating Facebook Oauth stuff, when i click on parent window. The popup shows the Facebook login, when i logged in with my details, it redirects to my site. But i need to close this popup after returning and refrsh the parent window.

If i could solve this then i will go for another logic but stucked on 1st step.
I'm trying to link an InfoPath form to an Access database, I want to connect the InfoPath form to 3 tables in the Access database but InfoPath will only recognise parent-child relationships in a series (e.g. the "Company" table is the parent to
the "Customer" table, which is again parent to the "Orders" table)
I need to have two parent tables and one child table, though (e.g. "Customer" is parent to "Orders", but "Inventory_Item" is also parent to "Orders"). Is there any way to establish this in InfoPath? I'm using Windows XP, InfoPath 2007 and Access 2007.
I have to create a aspx page where end users can create, edit and delete category and their subCategory from it.
Please suggest what is simple way to do above? using .Net
PS: a category can have zero or more subcategory and subcategory will not have any of its own subcategory, i.e. there are only two levels.
