Hi All, when trying to install WordPress using WebMatrix I keep getting the following error:

I added a port open rule in Windows Firewall, ran a Netstat -an with nothing showing up as using that port, and still no love.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Office 2010 Web Applications Install Error

We have a SharePoint 2010 Server setup in a farm configuration with a SQL 2008R2 clustered back-end that we are attempting to install Office Web Applications on.  We are following the technet article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx#bkmk_ins_exis_farm.  When we attempt to install the Office Web Applications on the SharePoint 2010 server (logged in as a member of the Administrators/farm admins) the progress bar completes and then displays the error "Microsoft Office Web Apps encountered an error during setup".  Looking through the Wac Server Setup.log file that setup generates doesn't yield much or any clues as to what is failing (it's lengthy and appears to just be detailing applications of a variety of languages installing and then rolling back).  The event logs are also filled with messages about the various Web Apps installing in a variety of languages and then rolling back when setup fails.  The only MsiInstaller event in the event logs that looks of any consequence is: "Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Microsoft Office Web Apps Application Server Components. Product Version: 14.0.4763.1000. Product Language: 0. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Installation success or error status: 1603." Does anyone have any experience with this issue or any suggestions/guidance?

2005 Install Error - SQLBROWSERACCOUNT

Hello experts - I am trying an ATTENDED install of SQL Server 2005 Enterprise edition, on Windows 2003 sp2, nd receive the following: TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Setup ------------------------------   SQL Server Setup has determined that the following account properties are not specified:  'SQLBROWSERACCOUNT' . The properties specify the startup account for the services that are installed. To proceed, refer to the template.ini and set the properties to valid account names. If you are specifying a windows user account, you must also specify the password for the account.   For help, click: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink?LinkID=20476&ProdName=Microsoft+SQL+Server&ProdVer=9.00.4035.00&EvtSrc=setup.rll&EvtID=28006&EvtType=sqlca%5csqlguica.cpp%40SetUnattendedSvcAccountProp%40SetUnattendedSvcAccountProp%40x6d66   ------------------------------ BUTTONS:   OK ------------------------------ If you click ok, it terminates the install.  My understanding is termplate.ini is for silent, unattended installs.  What's going oin? Easy install package vs MsSQL server 2008

Is there anything i wont be able to do if i use SQL Server Express Database from the downlod install package offered on asp.net? Ive used MSSQL server 2008 and 2005, but to be honest i think it might be overkill cause im not very familiar with those applications. I just need the database for creating websites. Will i be able to remote connect to my webbhotel host and remotely modify the database on the remote server? Now i have a mess, i have installed both MsSQL 2005 and 2008 and im not even sure wich database is created with what. I would love to just have one simple setup, but im not sure if i can manage to migrate the databases to the new computer with this easy install package. The easy install package contains: ASP.NET and ASP.NET MVC Visual Studio 2010 Express Development Tool SQL Server Express DatabaseThanks for your time!

Microsoft.NET version 3.0 Install Error: Installation failed for Windows Communication Foundation. M

Please help! I've been trying for the last day and a half to properly install Microsoft.NET version 3.5 so that I can install TurboTax and do my taxes. I was only on version 1.1. Multiple tries to upgrade to 3.5 was giving me a code 1603 error on install on "Microsoft.NET version 2.0a". I followed advice from forums here and elsewhere to uninstall and reinstall my prior versions. I also used Windows Install Cleanup before reinstalling. I keep getting to the same result when I try to go from version 2.0 to version 3.5. In my last attempt, I went all the way back to version 1.0 and installed each step up to 2.0 SP1 with (allegedly) no problems. This last time I decided to upgrade to 3.0 instead of going right to 3.5. Now I get the following error message: [04/03/10,04:07:14] Windows Communication Foundation: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Windows Communication Foundation. MSSQL Server 2008 Workgroups install to Win 7 - Compatibility issues

I attempted to install MSSQL Server 2008 Workgroups from the DVD to a Win 7 workstation.  Error "This Program has known compatibility issues.  The directions are to download the MSSQL Server Service Pack.  I downloaded SP 1 and SP 2.  Neither SP will install.  The DVD install also has a run option displayed along with the Compatibility message.  I select "Run" and it appeared to install, with Start\Programs\Microsoft SQL Server 2008\Configuration Tools\ SQL Server Installation Center 64bit.  However, running the 64bit installation process results in no change.  My question is how to install the MSSQL Server 2008 Workgroups on the Win 7 machine.  I would appreciate your thoughts.

MSSQL Server 2008 Workgroups install to Win 7 - Compatibility issues

The DVD install for MSSQL Server 2008 Workgroups to Win 7 fails due to known compatibility issues.  I asked for help in the Getting Started with SQL Server Forum and followed a recommendation to slipstream installation with SP1. I followed the procedures at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/joaol/archive/2009/03/20/how-to-install-sql-server-2008-with-sp1-built-in-slipstream-installation.aspx I then ran Setup.exe from the C:\SQLServer2008 folder.  It failed with the following .Net Framework error.  (I previously installed .Net Framework Version 4 which is required by the application needing SQL Server.)  Thanks for help. Microsoft.NET Framework Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.  If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
