I created my own file type. And I have an application to open this specific file
(xml). In SP2010 created a list of documents and have uploaded this file type on my list of specific documents and up
to here everything is working fine.
But when I click the file from the list of documents that he was open with my software or whether it is possible to synchronize
with the file.
My application (WPF Application) is already prepared to receive through "CommandLineArgument" the name and location of the file. If I go to the folder where
my file and make double click, my software starts and open the file.
How do I open t
I have a remote Web service that connects and queries a sharepoint site collection. One specific query is on a events list. Some of the events are recuring so I want these expanded so I can view the individual instances. I am aware that SPQuery is able to
do this, but since this service is remote from the sharepoint server, I have been forced to use the Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client namespace to connect to the site collection.
Does anyone know how I can expand the recurring events without having to write my own code to parse the RecurrenceData field of the event item ?
I need to get all events from a list which are overlap with a range of time (StartDateTime - EndDateTime).
The problem is that recurring events has EventDate as the first day of recurence and EndDate 30 years later so absolutly all ranges of time get into any recurring period.
Is there a way to fix it?
Is there a way to ;
- get an upgraded Sharepoint designer 2007 list workflow into a 2010 VS WSP
- get an upgraded Sharepoint designer 2007 list workflow into a 2010 re-usable workflow
Without having to re-create ? :)
Im sending this message in a bottle just in case.
I administrate an eRoom community (about 2000 employees) since 6 years.
We are now looking for a new system and have deployed SharePoint as a candidate to replace eroom.
However one of our bigest used objects are the Approval steps databases.
Approval steps databases (=lists in SharePoint) allows a new entry to be pushed to higher level or Rejected and push back to previous level.
I wonder if there is any "out of the box" workflows able to do this job !
If not is there any specific terms to search for or any good approach to have maybee ?
The approval steps list should behave this way :
New entry > [Push to next level if approved] > Step 2 > [Push to Step 3 if approved]/or/[Push back to Step 1 if rejected] > Step 3 > [Push to Step 4 if approved]/or/[Push back to Step 2 if rejected] and so on.
Many thanks in advance for your time!
When I click "Actions", "Connect to Outlook" it appears to work and even opens a calendar view. The calendar is empty though (but the calendar on sharepoint does have entries).
I get the following error message from outlook:
"Task 'SharePoint' reported error (0x80070005) : 'You do not have permission to view this SharePoint List . Contact the SharePoint site administrator. HTTP 302.'"
I am able to view the calendar in sharepoint, so I do have permission to view it.
I have searched but not found, maybe you can get me some advice...
How can I in Sharepoint 2010 with help from C# get a list (or array) containing names of user that has access to a certain list/list-view ?
With access I mean that the user shall have ability to add/remove a document from that list ...
I assume that I have to send as an inparameter some kind of name for that list/view/doc-lib ...
As you might see from my question am I not so good i SP/C# dev but soon I hope to be some more smarter :-)
