An error occurred during local report processing

My report runs fine until I added a new field ("TradeDate") to the datasource. when run the report, I got the following  error:

Error 1 The Value expression for the textbox 'textbox68' refers to the field 'TradeDate'.  Report item expressions can only refer to fields within the current data set scope or, if inside an aggregate, the specified data set scope. C:\Pro1\Allocation.rdlc 1

I can see the "TradeDate" on the Datasource list on the left pane after i built the project. But it seems rdlc file still catch the previous datasource, not the current one..

An error occurred during local report processing

A report is driven by finding data so if no data is found, there should be a way to report "NO DATA FOUND". The property for the tablix (NoRowsMessage) should be able to function as a method to show this data. Instead, with the value on the properties filled to say "No Data Found" the message does not change. It still says "An error occurred during local report processing" Why does it not show the message listed in the NoRowsMessage property?

An error occured during local report processing. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' W

I've been getting this error, randomly when previewing two reports.

It does not seem to be based on report complexity, size, subreports etc. When
reports are deployed to server, they all run fine. I just get the out of memory error locally.

1. I have one version with 2 datasets, and a number of matrix, table and list data regions.
2. I have a second version with only one table data region.
3. There is no custom code, variables, prompts or generally anything other than basic
formatting in the report.
4. Both reports are based on the same SQL table.

I can seem to run the two reports (both based on same SQL table) a few times, and
then they start giving the out of memory error.

I can open other other reports and they preview fine locally.

What I've tried so far to no avail:

1. Deleted the downloaded data before refreshing the two reports.
2. Tried building the two reports before running.
3. Tried changing the process priority to high for devenv.exe.
4. Removed filters in the reports.
5. Changed the physical order of the underlying table.
6. Closed the reports and then re-opened them.
7. Close Visual Studio and Re-Open. This seems to work for a while and then the two
reports start giving the error messages again.
8. Cop

Hi folks,

'An error occured during local report processing. Index was out of the range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index'

I checked all the datasets and they are working fine in query designer.

Could you plese let me know what might be the issue ?

Thanks in advance.

Adding a Chart to a Local Report

Dear All

I have created a report as a local report which looks like this:

I'm trying to add a chart to this report and I'd like it to display something like this (so sorry for the crude drawing):

It seems like it should be quite straight forward but I've tried dragging the fields into the chart all different ways and can't make it happen. I'm using Visual Studio 2010 and here's what my list of fields from the dataset look like:

I thought ObservationYear would be the series and all the other fields would be the data but this doesn't work. It produces a chart like this which wasn't what I was hoping for:

Please could you help me understand what it is I'm doing wrong? I'm very grateful for any help/advice you might be able to provide.

Kind regards

ssrs 2008 R2 - report parameter with no default set throws java script error

We have recently upgraded from SQL Server 2008 to SQL Server 2008 R2....I am experiencing a problem with my report parameters on my SSRS reports. It seems that my report parameters that I do not have a specified 'default' value throws a java script error when I try and run/render the report under R2.  As soon as I put a 'default' value on the report param, everything is fine.  However, that is not the behavior we need for our reports...the user needs to pick their selection. Can anyone shed some light on this, it seems to be an AJAX problem...I need to be able to have report parameters with a list of values, but no 'default' value on the parameter.

I tried from local and remote computer too but gives the same error both side. I am not sure but I am just thinking is this double hop kerberos security issue? Please help me to solve this problem.
