Let me set up what I am doing...
I have a table with multiple text boxes. Each of these text boxes pulls a total for it's corresponding item from a SharePoint List. Each item has 3 boxes that return three different totals.(Filters correctly into This week, This month, and
Year to date).
When I open the InfoPath form initially all the columns return the correct totals. Now If I edit the date created on an item; so that it was created last month. Nothing changes on my infopath form. The created this month total remains the same.
I have my data connection set to update everytime a form is opened.
What am i missing?
I have a secondary data connection with a lookup field into another list. To display the fields text value instead of the index, I am using a drop down list which gets its choices from the linked list. This information is read-only so I disabled the control
via formatting rule.
A calculated value control might be better suited, but my XPath skills are not very "developed". Has anyone done this before? Taken the index from the bound field and extracted the text value from a second data connection? Thx
I'm trying to figure out the best way to create a solution for the situation I have. I'm still pretty new to SharePoint, and very new to InfoPath. I'm working with MOSS 2007 and I've created a browser-enabled InfoPath 2007 form that I need
to make available to both anonymous users at the top level of my site, and AD authenticated users from within a secured site collection. It will be important for me to be able to determine whether the form is being submitted by an anonymous or authenticated
user, as it will have some fields that need to be handled differently in each case. Once the forms are submitted, I need to be able to store them in a forms library in the secured site collection, and also create a list item in the top level site with
some of the basic info from the form. That list will be visible and searchable for the anonymous users.
After searching through this forum, I've found at least 2 possible ways for anonymous users to submit forms to a form library. Right now I'm leaning towards having it submit to a web service which would handle the task of moving/copying the
data to the proper places. Would that be the best solution in this case, or am I missing something?
The next thing I'm not sure about is what my options are for presenting the form
Hi Infopath experts
I am developing an infopath form that has 4 big multiple selection fields (each field has more than 50 choices). Each time the users select a choice from the muiti-selection field, the form takes a lot of time to response. This only happened with IEs (I
am using IE8 now). When I tried it with other browsers (firefox, chrome, safari), the performance increased drastically.
I have seen other people saying that IE has issues with Infopath and IE9 might solve the issues. However, our company won't upgrade to IE9 anytime soon. If anyone has workarounds for this issue, please help me with it
The lookup fields with allow multiple options enabled displays parent listitem id separated by ";#" when exporting to spreadsheet. I need to remove the #and the parent list item id from the spreadsheet. how to achieve that?
I have a list that contains secretary assignments. There is only 2 columns. The secretary column is person/group lookup column and the attorneys column is also a person/group lookup column but "allow multiple selections". Here is a sample of item:
Secretary: Lisa White
Attorney: Joe Smith; John Fox; Michael Wrox.
I would like to create a view that display as
Joe Smith Lisa White
John Fox Lisa While
Michael Wrox Lisa While
I know the out of box view will not let me do that . I just wonder if there is a work-around solution. Many thanks.
I have a very unique requirement for MOSS 2007.
Lets say there is a list of projects; A, B, C, etc.
Then there are phases of the project: Design, Develop, QA, etc.
When the documents are uploaded to a document library, a project and phase is selected at the time of check-in.
I want to create a project page to show project documents by showing documents for each phase in a different web part: eg. Design web part, Develop web part, etc. all bringing documents from the document library.
So far, all good. This can be created by using web parts, views and filters, etc.
Now, I want to create a custom list with Username, Project, Phase. like this:
User1, Project A, Design
User1, Project A, Develop
User1, Project A, QA
User1, Project B, QA
Now, if User1 goes to this project page for Project A - the user sees documents in all 3 phases.
if user1 goes to Project B - the user sees only QA documents.
I will be ok with just showing and hiding web parts completely.
or showing the web parts, but filtering out the documents. either is fine.
I have tried a combination of filters, CAML, etc. but getting values from a custom list to apply the filter is where I am stumped. I want the custom list as it will be easier for the end user to manage permissions for each user for each project for each
Hi, I am building event booking system on InfoPath 2010 , I need to show available rooms for given start and end date time.

but i need to pass multiples values after one by one in the textbox. Is it possible to pass multiple
values in the textbox for autocomplete in jquery in asp.net?
