I would like to write a user login page using the asp:login built in functions, but also have a database I have my users stored in. The things Ive been reading say that the users are validated through the ASPNETDB database. I am just used to writing my own login stored procedure in my database and passing in the user/pass tothere. Is there an easier way this could be done? I dont have any example code, just thinking this out. I was thinking of writing a class called User with a method of Login, passing in the 2 values and calling a stored procedure.
I could just create 2 text boxes but would like to use the built in login functionality if possible.
