i`m looking for a possibility to integrate Office Web Apps (Word for example) into my own web application written with ASP.NET. Is there any API to realise that or does anyone know helpful websites concering this issue?
Thanks for help ;)
I'm trying to install Office Web Apps on a WinSrv2008 R2 with SharePoint 2010.
The problem that occur is that when I run the setup.exe in the root folder of Office 2010, it doesn't prompt me for a product key.
The installation just progresses and installs the whole Office package on the server.
There must be a work-around for this.
Is that a Beta or RTM version?
How can I check the version of Office Web Apps?
In my sharepoint application we are using Visual web part (with User control) to display document(s) stored in a Document Library of my sharepoint site.
And we WANT to open the document, from Hyperlink in Usercontrol, in Office web apps. Which could be done as suggested in following link
but the issue with that is it shows the Header & Toolbar which are not required in our case.
I tried playing with the below URL by adding variour request query string parameters like '&popup=1' . But No lock.
Currently i'm trying to find out OWA web part which does the needful for me.
Please share your opinion on the same. Any pointer on the same are warmly welcome.
Thanks in advance
I want to publish PowerPoint Presentations so they will be open in the web
(using the Office web apps capability) in SharePoint 2010.
In the library settings i configure it to "open in browser". What should be set in the SharePoint server? or central admin?
