Posted By:      Posted Date: October 22, 2010    Points: 0   Category :SharePoint
I'm looking for information about how can after an user be redirected after a sucessfull submit on an online infopath form.

I read

But i didnt found where can i use those properties from the code behind.
Is there any other page that needs to be modified?

My scenario is simple, a sharepoint form template. user clicks on new template, its rendered on browser and after submition, it goes to the main site.

Where can i acces that property "source" from the code behind of the form?
Do i have to load an assambly in the code?
The defaults ones are

using Microsoft.Office.InfoPath;
using System;
using System.Xml;
using System.Xml.XPath;

Redirect to a mobile page

Hi please can anyone help? I have a simple website with a home page called defaut.aspx, also I have a page with in this site called mobile.aspx. My question is, bearing in mind that I posses very little knowledge of VB, what code do I need to place in the default.aspx to detect what kind of device someone is using and redirect them to the mobile page (mobile.aspx)? This needs to be quite up-to-date preferably for blackberry and nokia devices?

Detecting PPC device on startup page to redirect?

I was wondering (since a search didn't find any posts) if there is a way for my startup page to detect what kind of device (PocketPC or web browser specifically) is loading the page and if it is a PocketPC, then redirect to the mobile pages? I will only be using PocketPC's exclusively as a mobile device.

Thanks for any suggestions!

SQL Reporting Services - Page X of XX counts in header

I have searched high and low for how to calculate page numbering in the header where the global values do not apply.   I have a report that generates 300+ invoices and I need the page numbers to reflect page x of xx for that invoice only.  My report page breaks for each customer invoice.  I have found code to get the page number in the header and I have found code to get the total pages in the body.  These two solutions cannot be combined.    Has anyone found a workaround in code behind or some other method?I would appreciate any guidance.   Side note: thank you all for all your postings and solutions.  They have been highly valuable as I am new to SSRS.

How to set the variation root redirect page to ALWAYS go to a preset label?

Hi. I have setup variations and I have 4 labels, SE EN FI DK. This is a public website and I want every visitor to first be directed to the predetermined label, for example SE. This no matter what setting they have in their browser... In Sweden, most people have English as the language in the browser since this gets you better content in most places, but in this case, it gets them the EN label instead of the SE label as default. How can I change this in the best way possible? Are there any easily adaptable solutions available? Like on codeplex? The MSDN way is not to my liking, manually customize every front end or compile my own DLL....Noo, there has to be a better way right? (How to: Customize the Variations Label Control Logic http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms551625.aspx) Appreciate any help you can give me on this. Infopath Form services help

Hi, I have a Sharepoint List "List C" , which has two look up fields from two lists List A & List B. Currently when a user enters a new item in List C, he picks a value from the two lists (A&B) However, List A has  mutli-value Look up from List B. Now I would like to customize Sharepoint List form for List C (hopefully use Infopath form services), and achieve cascading. i.e When a user Picks a value from List A to enter a new item in List C, I would like to casacade the Multivalue Look up values from List B. Is this possible at all? If so, can anyone out line a procedure? Thanks so much.

InfoPath Forms Services postback crash

Howdy, I'm an InfoPath 2007 developer and have used it extensively in conjunction with SharePoint 2007 (and Forms Services). I've noticed a persistent bug in Forms Services when using postbacks -- I can't seem to find a bug report or known issue report for it. When a field is say, for instance, set to Always postback, if you click on another field / checkbox / whatever which will also perform a postback, it crashes the form & IE8. Has anyone else come across this bug? I assumed something funny would be going on as the JS behind it would be calling two postbacks at the same time, and perhaps this isn't handled well? I couldn't find any related post on this forum, just seeing if anyone else has come across it and whether a solution exists? Thanks, George

Authentication required, redirect to login page

Hi,I want authentication required for all webpages in a site. If i copy the url of any of the web page in the current site and paste it in the url address i should redirect to login page. If you have any solution please suggest it.

SPWeb.Properties is not persist over the redirect page.

Hi, I have to pass some object from my code to another redirected page. So I serialize the object and serialized string is save to SPWeb's property as a string and after that I use SPUtility.Redirect('Url'). But on redirected page above updated property is not find in the SPWeb.Property collection. string xml = MyClass.GetXMLFromObject(exInfo); SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.AllowUnsafeUpdates = true; SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Update(); if (!SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Properties.ContainsKey("MyInfo")) { SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Properties.Add("MyInfo", xml); SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Update(); } else { SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Properties["MyInfo"] = xml; SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Update(); } SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.AllowUnsafeUpdates = false; SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Update(); SPUtility.Redirect("RedirectToErrorPage/ApplicationPage1.aspx?ExInfo=" +xml, SPRedirectFlags.RelativeToLayoutsPage, HttpContext.Current); Redirected page code: if (SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Properties["MyInfo"] != null) { using (SPWeb web = SPContext.Current.Site.OpenWeb(SPContext.Current.Web.Site.RootWeb.Url)) { TextBox1.Text = Convert.ToString(SPContext.Current.Web.Site.Root

Permission Errors for Users on Home Page only of SQL Server Reporting Services Report Manager

I have spent days now investigating this problem, so any help very much appreciated! I have a remote web server 2003 running SQL Server R2 Express Edition with Reporting Services installed. I use Report Builder 3.0 locally to build report. If I login via Internet to Report Manager Web Page as an administrator I can perform all the expected and required actions, creating new folders and assigning permissions for users etc. I have added a new user "ReportUser" as a Browser of a child folder. If ReportUser longs on to home page, he receives the all too familiar error: User 'XXXXXXXX\reportuser' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed. However, if the user starts at the child folder of home page, and then logs in, he sees the expected page, and can run the report!  This is not very satisfactory. How can I allow user to see home page, without an error message, but not be allowed to click on any folders to which he is not entitled? I am now aware that SQL Server R2 Express Edition has many limitations compared with full Editions (fixed roles, cannot manage Report Service from Management Studio etc) , and many of the "solutions" offered on the web just do not apply.   John Walton

How to hide the summary page of Web Services?

Hi there, a while ago I came across a way to hide the summary page of Web Services. I think it's an attribute that I can set for the entire web service interface, but I couldn't find it anymore. Does anyone know how it's done? For example, if I implemented a web service interface at using foobar.asmx, if I access foobar.asmx directly, I will see a summary page that tells me about all the webmethods available, etc. How do I prevent that page from being displayed? Thanks,- K.
