Procedure or function sp_MSenumchanges has too many arguments specified

Posted By:      Posted Date: October 22, 2010    Points: 0   Category :Sql Server

I'm using SQL Server 2000 SP4 Enterprise Edition. I created a Merge Replication and a push subscription. I got the follow error message in Merge Agent:

Message: The process could not enumerate changes at the 'Publisher'.
Percent Complete: 0
Source:  Failed Command
Number:  0
Message: {call sp_MSenumchanges(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?)}
Percent Complete: 0
Source:  WINSVR2003N
Number:  8144
Message: Procedure or function sp_MSenumchanges has too many arguments specified.

Anybody knows how to solve it?

I already ran the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard several times but no result. I noticed that sharepoint gives 14 parameters and the stored procedure only takes 13 parameters...

Any suggestions?

Cannot call Table Valued Function from Dynamic stored procedure statement

Hello,  I have a table-valued function that splits string into a table column. I can easily call this function from a stored procedure within a regular SELECT statement: SELECT * FROM Table1 WHERE Code1 = '1' AND Code2 IN(SELECT * FROM [dbo].[fnSplitValues](@Code2String))   However when I try to use the same logic for a dynamic SELECT statement: ‘SELECT * FROM Table1 WHERE Code1 = '1' AND Code2 IN(SELECT * FROM ' + [dbo].[fnSplitValues](@Code2String) + ')’ I get an error ‘Cannot find either column "dbo" or the user-defined function or aggregate "dbo.fnSplitValues", or the name is ambiguous.’ Any idea what is wrong with my dynamic SQL?   Please help, Lana

Use function name twice with different arguments

The question is about WCF and WSE.

I`m looking for a way to re-use the function name for a different function.

Public Function Call(Byval iActivationCode as String) as String
Public Function Call(Byval iUser as Integer, Byval iProductNumber As Integer) as String

If it`s not possible, how does everyone else do this?
- create a request object (check inside the function for the filed fields, its not the right way i think)
- create they two different functions with different names (You get a lot of different and long function names)
- rename the functions for remote users (i don`t prefer this becaus you lose the compiler functionality and overview)

A USE database statement is not allowed in a procedure, function or trigger.

I’m automating a large Archiving\Purging script on 1TB multi-databases.

I run all Sp’s from Archive database (Destination database).

The log file gets full fast in both source and destination databases and the whole process stopped, I have to clear all log files, as well I have to shrink file after clearing it.
