Printing Landscape Report using the Print Control of the ASP.NET Report Viewer

I am using the ASP.NET Report Viewer 2010 web control in remote processing mode connected to a SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 R2 report server in Native Mode. I am viewing the report in IE8 and the print control within the report viewer is available. According to "Printing Reports from a Browser Using the Print Control" at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159237.aspx  "The Print dialog box and the default printer settings for width, height, and page orientation are determined by the report definition." In SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio I am using the “Report Properties” window accessed from the “Report” menu to set the Orientation to “Landscape”, the paper size to “Letter”, the Width to “11in”, and the Height to “8.5in” in the report definition. When viewing the report using the ASP.NET Report Viewer 2010 in IE8 and exportint to PDF, the report renders correctly in landscape orientation and the size both on screen and printed is as defined in the report definition. However, if I print it directly from the ASP.NET Report Viewer using the Print Control the print preview shows the report correctly in landscape orientation and page size, but the resulting printout is in portrait orientation and skewed or cropped.  If I go into the properti

Multiple Rdlc report in one reportviewer.

Hi, I have multiple reports that take the same parameters. Need to create a master report with all the reports merged together. I dont want to copy paste the rdlc files into one large file. found a control by Telerik called ReportBook but it costs money!! http://www.telerik.com/help/reporting/designing-reports-general-explanation.html anyone knows something similar? or am i missing something very obvious? using visual studio 2005... Cheers will subreports solve my problem? not sure how these work. so say i have a report that lists employers and i create a subreport that lists all employees for a particular empoyer. is it then possible on one rdlc to have the list of employers and a bunch of subreports for each employer's employees?

.RDLC report layout...huge problem!!

Hi!I'm designing a layout for a report in VS2008 using SSRS/RDLC format. And every time I setup a part of that report i test it on my workstation to see if everything is ok. But, today, i finished the first page of that report and uploaded it to my hosting server (were it's going to be used), and when i press the button to convert the report to .pdf and download it the layout is completely ruined :-/When i do the same thing in my workstation every thing 'comes out' beautifully, but up on the server it doesn't :(Why is that happening? Can anyone help me?

How to display middle value in a RDLC report where count equals 3?

I'm currently using an RDLC report and ReportViewer control to display a report to the user. The report needs to be formatted in a certain way so just creating a table and iterating through won't work. My database is set up to be pretty normalized. For example, two tables I have are a "PersonalData" table with a ID and a "PhoneNumbers" table with a ContractorID that relate to the first table. The "PhoneNumbers" table has essentially two columns of data: Number and Type. Each contractor in the PersonalData table can have multiple phone numbers (home, cell, work, etc.). I'm also passing the ContractorID into the report so I know which records to grab. On the report, I need to display each phone number in a separate text box layed out like so:Home Phone: (555) 555-5555             Cell Phone: (444) 444-4444    Daytime/Local Phone: (333) 333-3333   E-Mail Address: me@somewhere.com  The records are inserted in the database in the following order: Home, Cell, Daytime/Local. I can grab the home phone since I know it will always be the first record in the database (required field) by using:=First(Fields!Number.Value, "DataSet1_PhoneInformation")  And either the Daytime/Local or Cell depending on the element count by using the Last() function. The problem is grabbing and displayi
