From some reason, I can't browse anymore decision trees mining model objects. This is quite strange - I can create a data mining structure & object but I can't browse the tree and use other functionalities of the BI - instead, I get the error "Exception has been thrown by the target of invocation (mscorlib)".

Thanks for helping.

I published an issue with BI, here:

However, I think that the errors I get have nothing to do with BI. Instead, they are related to the .Net framework.

I tried re-installing SQL SERVER 2008 R2 & reinstalling .Net Framework 4 but I still get the error shown in the link (meaning that I can't use BI properly).

May I have your opinion please?

Excel 2007/ASP.NET Exception using .Workbooks.Add()

Hi,I am receiving the following exception when using the xlApp.Workbooks.Add() method with ASP.NET and Office 2007.  Server Error in '/ExcelTest' Application. Microsoft Office Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space. . To make more memory available, close workbooks or programs you no longer need. . To free disk space, delete files you no longer need from the disk you are saving to. Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Microsoft Office Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space.   There is plenty of disk space and memory on the servers. What's really strange is that it works OK when I specify a template with the Add method: .Workbooks.Add(Server.MapPath("~") & "\ReportTemplate.xls")So that's a workaround anyway...Below is a small sample I'm using to try and debug this problem.In a new web project, add a reference to Microsoft Excel 12.0 Object Library, add a button named btnGenerateReport, a label named lblStatus, and a Hyperlink named lnkExcelReport to Default.aspx and paste the

Export to excel giving com Exception.

HI All, I am using following code to export content of my grid to excel sheet. Excel. _Worksheet worksheet = (Excel.Worksheet)excelApp.Sheets.get_Item(1);   int columnIndex = 0;   foreach (DataGridViewColumn col in dg.Columns) {   if (col.Visible) { columnIndex++; worksheet.Cells[1, columnIndex] = col.HeaderText;   //Excel.Range is used to set a style and other format information for a cell in excel. Excel. Range rng = (Excel.Range)worksheet.Cells[1, columnIndex]; } } This works fine when I have small amount of column around 200. Sometime I need to show 900 columns in my gird and when I try to export the context of the grid to excel, I get exception saying "Exception from HRESULT: 0x800A03EC" StackTrace says:    at System.RuntimeType.ForwardCallToInvokeMember(String memberName, BindingFlags flags, Object target, Int32[] aWrapperTypes, MessageData& msgData)    at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Range.set__Default(Object RowIndex, Object ColumnIndex, Object )    at XYZ.ExportToExcel.Export(DataGridView dg) The exception occurs when the columnIndex value becomes 257. Is there any limit of number of columns and rows that can be exported to excel sheet? If possible, please share the code which will resolve this problem. Thanks in advance

Target audiences not working in excel services web part

My appologies i posted this originally in the pre-2010 forum So i'm reposting here: We have recently upgraded to Sharepoint 2010 and we're experiencing problems with the "target audience" field being available to the users. I am not the CA admin though so it'll make this a bit tough to get solved if the problem is there. What i'm looking for are the suggestions of things for me to forward to the CA admin to change or check if anything. We have a seperate Virtual Machine that is running 2010 that has this option available to users on that farm for some reason. however on our corporate farm we don't have that option available. Plus on top of this the quick launch items are not working with audiences as well to turn off the headers to links that have nothing in them due to security trimming on document libraries. I'm hoping that this being a more of an overview of things to check would help others who may have this problem as well. I've seen resolutions such as rebooting the server and such, however that's a bit lower level and we need some higher level things to check that may resolve the issue. Think the simple stuff first to check and lets work down the list. Doesn't matter how stupid it is but can we get a more compiled list of things to check to make sure that target audience visibility to users is enabled? Thanks!
