Is there a way we can loop through all the lists created in current site and its subsites. I am looking for only Lists that are created in a site and all the subsites under it.

How can I recursive get Lists from Main site and all subsites by using webservice.
Dim websService As New TestWebService.Lists()
Dim ndLists As XmlNode = websService.GetListCollection()
This way I only can get the current site lists, but not the subsites. Do I have to reference all of the subsite webservcie? Thanks!
I am trying to save site as template., and found that subsites are not part of that site template..
Can anybody tell me how can I save site as template with subsites.?...
what is the maximum limit for creating document libraries in sharepoint 2010, is there any limit? if so can you give me the number and details where do i find it.
Thanks in advance.
I know I am missing something here, and I have searched, but I cannot seem to find the missing piece. I did a new-spcontentdatabase to connect my sp2007 05 db to my sp2010 08 db environment. It went through and went to 100% and then said it was
completed, but with errors.
I looked through the error log and it was all 'could not parse date/time string; string not recognized'. So I figured I would not be overly worried about it. Now here is where my delusional thoughts come in and I need help. I had assumed
(yeah i know 'assumed') when I created a site under the new web app it would populate all the lists and everything from the content database. It obviously didn't, how do I get that?
Recently I am investigating on a tool which can do the following-
1) helps in creating multiple number of sites, subsites, lists and list items
without having me to manually do all those actions.
This is because I am in the process of building a test environment for SharePoint which needs to have 100GB of data dispersed among different sites and subsites which turns out to be really tedious for me to create all these manually and fill the data
Does anyone have any idea of existence of such a tool.
Can some one help me with ideas to achieve this
I am working on my custom master page and i would like to show top navigation with 2 level deep. In quick launch, i would like to show only subsites under the parent site. Which datasource i need to use and how can i hide rest of them like Libraries,Lists,
Any help is appreciated.
I have a WSS3.0 site that allows anonymous access as well as using FBA. Another web application is configured to use the same content database but set with windows authentication.
Anonymous users are allowed to post to a few Lists. I am trying to create an alert for an authenticated user (either FBA or Windows). I receive the "You have successfully created an alert" email, but no emails are sent when new items are added.
This is the case for all new list items whether they are added by an authenitcated user or an anonymous one.
I am sure the site config is set correctly (but I will double-check). Is there any reason for the behaviour I am experiencing? I'm not at the latest patch level (we are using the June 2009 CU), so perhaps this was an issue that has been resolved in a later
patch/update that I ought to apply?
Would appreciate any gems of information anyone might have on the subject before I go away and write my own event handler to send an email!!!
I guess what I'm asking is, is this possible?
I have a System that I'm trying to implement in SharePoint. It basically is a Site that contains multiple Lists. The list should be able to create an InfoPath Form(form1). Then I need to create multiple InfoPath forms(form2) that is basically a
sub-form of form1. Form2 will have its own List containing only form2's that relate to form1. Then create sub-form(form3) to form2.
Using a combination of InfoPath and SharePoint is this possible?
I've created a FBA enabled site.In that I want my FBA users would not able to acess specific subsites. And I want to acheive it programatically.Pls help me.
