IF variable1 = x OR y AND variable2 = x OR y AND variable3 = x OR y THEN

Basically all 3 variables need to be either one of the specified values.

.NET 4 LocBaml: An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

I am testing out LocBaml and a simple .NET 4 Wpf program with a button and a label only. I add the following to the PropertyGroup in the .csproj file <UICulture>en</UICulture> Now I open a Visual Studio command promt and build both LocBaml and my test project with msbuild. Then I copy locbaml.exe to the bin\debug of my test project. Then I add uid's to the testproject  by running "msbuild /t:update LocApp1.csproj". Now it is time to generate the csv file by using locbaml. I enter "locbaml /parse en\LocApp1.resources.dll" from the bin\debug folder and hit enter. I get the following error: Microsoft (R) Baml Localization Utility Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2005. All rights reserved. MaskedEditExtender date format incorrect

I have a textbox for date input and I used a MaskedEditExtender to set the Mask="99/99/9999": here is the code:

<asp:TextBox runat="server" ID="tbDate" Width="80px" />

<ajax:MaskedEditExtender ID="MaskedEditExtender1" runat="server" TargetControlID="tbDate" Mask="99/99/9999" MaskType="Date" />

In my code when the page loads I need to set the tbDate to readonly, then when the user enters some other info on the page I will make tbDate editable (not readonly), I did all these using javascript by setting tbDate.readOnly = true/false. However, when going from readonly to editable, when the tbDate field receives the focus, the mask __/__/____ appears, but when the user starts typing the first digit, it pushes the mask as if the mask was part of the value, so it becomes something like 12__/__/____ instead of 12/__/____. If I commented out the code that makes the tbDate field readonly, then the mask works as expected. Any idea?

Thank you.

How To Set a Date Format In GridView Using ASP.NET 2.0

A very common desire is to set a column of a gridview to display just the month, day and year of a DateTime type. The problem is the by default, the HtmlEncode property of the boundfield attribute (
The problem is that if this field is enabled, you can not pass format information to the boundfield control. That is, if you try the following code, you will not get the desired result.

How to format and update GridView and DataGrid rows using JQuery

The behavior described in this question is as expected. When you set text of a cell in grid, it directly affects HTML that is going to be rendered. When you set text value of a cell, it means that you are setting innerText of the cell. The column that GridView creates for command fields (Edit, Delete and Select) are a (anchor) or button elements. So you can see what will happen if you set text value in that cell. It will wipe out those link or button controls and replace them with simple text string.

Format Generic List Bound to Gridview

I have a generic list of a custom type. The custom type has a string and double.

I'm binding the list to a gridview and it outputs everything fine.

I'm trying to format the double column into a currency format. It is in a template field as I'm calculating a running total. I pass the value to a function that returns a double and adds the current value to a running total which I will show in the footer.

The format is not changing to currency as expected when using String.Format("{0:c}", GetTotal(Convert.ToDouble(Eval("Amount"))))

Any ideas on what might be going on and how to fix this?

Advanced Serialization: Format Your Way to Success with the .NET Framework Versions 1.1 and 2.0

While .NET offers adequate support for the simple serialization cases, issues arise when you're attempting to support delegates and subscribers, versioning, and class hierarchies. . In addition, the introduction of generics in The .NET Framework breaks new ground in the complexity of the serialization task and the power of serialization tools. This article discusses these issues and related pitfalls, suggests techniques and workarounds that address them, and recommends when and how to best use the new serialization abilities.

Inside Windows: An In-Depth Look into the Win32 Portable Executable File Format, Part 2

The Win32 Portable Executable File Format (PE) was designed to be a standard executable format for use on all versions of the operating systems on all supported processors. Since its introduction, the PE format has undergone incremental changes, and the introduction of 64-bit Windows has required a few more. Part 1 of this series presented an overview and covered RVAs, the data directory, and the headers. This month in Part 2 the various sections of the executable are explored. The discussion includes the exports section, export forwarding, binding, and delayloading. The debug directory, thread local storage, and the resources sections are also covered.

Inside Windows: An In-Depth Look into the Win32 Portable Executable File Format

A good understanding of the Portable Executable (PE) file format leads to a good understanding of the operating system. If you know what's in your DLLs and EXEs, you'll be a more knowledgeable programmer. This article, the first of a two-part series, looks at the changes to the PE format that have occurred over the last few years, along with an overview of the format itself. After this update, the author discusses how the PE format fits into applications written for .NET, PE file sections, RVAs, the DataDirectory, and the importing of functions. An appendix includes lists of the relevant image header structures and their descriptions.
