I'm working on a project where the users are supposed to choose which type of user they are. (This doesn't have anything to do with permission levels etc.).
As I was creating a new userproperty I discovered that we don't have a multichoice value in SP2010 as we had in SP2007. So I googled and found a blog with someone who had the similar problem and he said to go to the Manage Metadata service and add a new term
to the Term Store. So I did.
On my development environment I have setup this new term as surgested and added it to my userproperty and developed a webpart to extract all userproperty data for all users to see if it worked, and it did.
Then I of course created a WSP package and deployed it to my Production environment. The thing is that it doesn't work on the production environment. I use the exact same term setup and created a userproperty the exact same way as on the development environment.
The only difference of what I know is the name of the webiste. Else, everything is similar to the development environment.
Do any of you know what might cause this to happen? The error I get tells me that the value is out of range and it cannot get an IcId(or)LcId.
