I'd like to initialize a pull transactional subscription with a backup (via RMO).
MSDN example tells that i should use the method TransPublication.MakePullSubscriptionWellKnown to register a subscription on a publisher.
However, if I pass a SubscriptionSyncType.InitializeWithBackup to that method, it throws exception
"The parameter @backupdevicename passed to stored procedure sp_MSextractlastlsnfrombackup cannot be NULL"
And there is no a way to pass @backupdevicename into the method MakePullSubscriptionWellKnown.
Here is a description how to do it calling stored procedures directly and it requires to pass @backupdevicename:
So it looks like a design bug of RMO API.
