We have a SharePoint 2010 Enterprise site using SSL. I have modified a webpart that uses Silverlight to connect to crm and output data from there.
The project works when I debug the Silverlight project. This was only after I implemented a clientaccesspolicy.xml on the CRM site. The problem I have is that when I try moving it to the SharePoint site or debugging the project that wraps the webpart, I
get the same cross domain error. The error is as follows.
Unhandled Error in Silverlight 2 Application An exception occurred during the operation, making the result invalid. Check InnerException for exception details. at System.ComponentModel.AsyncCompletedEventArgs.RaiseExceptionIfNecessary()
at CRMSLParts.AccountManager.service_ExecuteCompleted(Object sender, ExecuteCompletedEventArgs e)
at CRMSLParts.CrmSdk.CrmServiceSoapClient.OnExecuteCompleted(Object state)
<my site here>
This error when debugged in Visual Studio 2010 is as follows.
An error occurred while trying to make a request to URI 'http://<myCRMsiteHere>/MSCrmServices/2007/CrmService.asmx'. This could be due to attempting to access a service in a cross-domain way without a proper cross-domain policy in place, or a policy

dynamic layout or zone for Report Viewer Webpart, the report as to take all the space possible, and I don't want the scroll bars.
We have used listview webpart to display document library.
The ListViewWebPart contains a private variable called 'rootFolder' that contains the current folder the webpart is displaying.
Below code snippet is used to obtain the value of the private variable contained within the ListViewWebPart.
static object GetPrivateFieldValue(object obj,
FieldInfo fi = obj.GetType().GetField(fieldName,

After upgrading to SharePoint 2010 and Reporting Services 2008 (separate servers), all our web part pages that have the ReportViewer web parts in them are not working. The error we are getting is "Web Part Error:
A Web Part or Web Form Control on this Page cannot be displayed or imported. The type could not be found or it is not registered as safe." All the reports are working on the report server but not through the web parts. We used Visual Studio
2005 to create these reports and they all work in MOSS 2007 that also ran Reporting Services 2005. If we delete the web part with the error and put in the ReportViewer web part manually on the page in SharePoint 2010, the reports do work. But there
are too many reports to be doing this manually for every web part page. We already tried making changes to the Handler Mappings but it did not resolve the errors. As far as we can tell, all the DLLs are in the right places. Any help or suggestions would
be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
