We are using SharePoint MOSS for our Internet site. We have a staging area where we arrange our content before we use content deployment to push it out to production. We put pictures along with text in CEWs and use relative paths on the pictures. The thing
gets published and deployed to production and life is good. But if you have to make an edit to the text or anything other thing on one of those web parts with pictures in them, as soon as you open that web part up in the rich text editor, it puts the
full path back on all of the pictures contained in it. If you are not paying attention this gets deployed to production pointing back to the staging area for those pictures that were in that web part, although they were never edited or changed in any way.
Has anyone seen this before? Is there a setting or something that can be changed to stop this from happening?
