I have an entity set of NotificationTemplates, and each one of these has a collection of zero-many SmsTemplate entities. When editing or viewing a NotificationTemplate, I have a link to View SMS Templates. That link takes me to a List view for the SmsTemplates entity set, filtered for the NotificationTemplate I was viewing. How can I prevent the user changing this filter to show SmsTemplates for another NotificationTemplate? That is, I want the filter, but it must be read only. The drop-down just mustn't drop down, it must just display the name of the NotificationTemplate that these SmsTemplates belong to. To view SmsTemplates for another NotificationTemplate, the user must click View SMS Templates from that other template.
This was originally asked by myself on SatckOverflow at: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3514373/disable-filtering-on-a-dynamic-data-list-view
I have a a list that recieves email. I have few fields that shows me the originator: "E-Mail From" and "E-Mail Sender".
I am trying to create a workflow that will generate an auto reply to the originator but the SPD fails to recognize the email address in these two fields. It's either truncating part of it or uses the html ( href=mailto:Demo@DemoSomething.com) in
the To field.
OK, I must be missing something here.
If I turned on Alerts for one library and then decide I don't want to get the alerts anymore, how do I turn them Off?
So the situation is, i have a list, that receives emails from a particular account all day long, recently it has started recieving emails "late" being it will mass process emails at various times of the day. Before it proccessed them as soon as
they were received.
Event log shows
A critical error occurred while processing the incoming e-mail file C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Drop\e472144001cb44a40000001e.eml. The error was: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Drop\e472144001cb44a40000001e.eml' because it is being used
by another process..
Have this error everywhere.
It seems SMTP is having issues but wanted to come here and get some insight.

I use the OOB Workflow approval to approve items in a document library. Once the items are approved I want to send out an email alert to a group of people with "read" access. The problem is that the email alerts don't fire. I even changed the alerts to fire
on "All Changes", but still nothing coming through. I assume this is because of the workflow approval and perhaps that the event doesn't fire when an item gets published after approval?
But how can I get my readers to be notified of newly published (and approved) items? There must be a way of doing it?
