What is the correct syntax in VB.net 2008 web developer in SQL to do a WHERE clause where the data is >= to the current date? I can't figure out how you pass now into the SQL statement.

I am writing following CASE statement in Data Source View-> Righ click measure table "xyz" -> and select "Edit Named Query"
case WHEN(CT.COMMITMENT_TYPE_FLAG = 'P') THEN C.AMOUNT_USD ELSE 0 END AS REQUISITION_AMT,
case WHEN(CT.COMMITMENT_TYPE_FLAG = 'C') THEN C.AMOUNT_USD ELSE 0 END AS OBLIGATION_AMT
Using SQL Server 2008:
We have a main database - MAIN. For monthly data extracts, I create new tables with relevant data in another database called EXTRACT.
I use SELECT INTO statements to create the tables in the EXTRACT schema. How do I preserve the primary key constraints in the EXTRACT tables? Do I need to write separate queries to set them?

I'm getting th error "unable to connect to the asp.net development server 2008"
It's been working fine for months and all the sudden.I'm fairly new at this so if you have a fix I will need details.
I'm trying to embed a flv in my web page and I don't have a clue how to do it.
I downloded and installed ASPNetFlashVideo and the tools do not appear in my toolbox.
So if anyone has a work around it would be greatly appreciated.
I have a dynamic data site that stores Event data using LINQ-to-SQL. When someone requests an event, it is first stored as a PendingEvent (which is a child of Event) with a column/attribute called receivedAt, which is [ReadOnly(true)] and which is assigned in InsertEvent as shown.
partial void InsertEvent(Event instance)
instance.requestedAt = DateTime.Now;
This works fine. The event displays with the correct receivedAt date, and it's correct in my database. It shows up just fine on my Display, Edit, and List pages. However, if I try to delete, the receivedAt in the instance (retrieved with my debugger) in my delete function is 01/01/0001 12:00am, also known as DateTime.MinValue. My other dates appear correct.
If I remove "ReadOnly(true)" from the received at, everything works fine. Why won't "ReadOnly" allow me to have a time?Thanks in advance,
I forgot to mention why I care. I can't submit the instance to be deleted because DateTime.MinValue is outside SQL's available datetime, so I get a SQL error. The delete also takes place in a custom dele
I need to get a list of programs/files that were installed when I was trying to install VWD 2008 so I can go through and remove them. The installation did not actually install the main part of the program so I can't start with removing Microsoft VWD 2008 (a folder was created in Program files but it is empty. I found this (below) but I'm not sure that it applies. I don't want to remove programs/files that are being used by other programs. (I can't just try to install again because there is not enough room on my hard drive)
